Sesame candy

Hello foodies welcome to my blog🤗. I'm delighted to be here as well as share some incredible recipes with you all. Once again, welcome its good to have you here.🤗

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of sesame

8 tsp of Sugar

4 tsp of honey

PROCEDURE:

Alway ensure the your hands are properly washed and every untensil you will be using are neat.

STEP 1:

Wash the sesame thoroughly because pf sand and stones. Use a sieve to drain the water out after washing it.

STEP 2 :

Transfer the sesame to a tray , Sun dry the sesame. It doesn't take long for it to get dried .

STEP 3 :
When the sesame is completely dried. Pour it into a pan and roast it on low heat. Keep stirring it till it releases its aroma and its soft when u press hard on it or you can as well taste it to know if its okay. When its well toasted, put it down to cool off

STEP 4 :

Heat up another pan or pot, pour in sugar and stir, while stirring it, add in the honey and stir consistently. Stir untill theres no lump and its completely golden brown.

STEP 5:
Put of the gas and then add in the toasted sesame and mix. Mix it very well, while its still hot pour it into a mold to get your desired shape or rub butter or oil on your tray then pour in your candy cover it a baking paper roll it out, use knife to cut to desired shapes.

STEP 6 :

Leave it to dry before you store it into an airtight container.

Candy is set for you to snack on😋
