From time to time I like to cook for my family. It's nice to see your loved ones enjoy something you prepared yourself.
I'm not a master in the kitchen, far from it, but something I'm very good at is Bolognese sauce accompanied by a good pasta. You could say it's my specialty.
This is my first time posting in this community, I hope it's a good blog and you enjoy it!


De vez en cuando me gusta cocinar para mi familia. Es agradable ver disfrutar a tus seres queridos algo que preparaste tú.
No soy un maestro en la cocina, ni mucho menos, pero algo que se me da muy bien es la salsa boloñesa acompañada de una buena pasta. Se podría decir que es mi especialidad.
Es la primera vez que publico en esta comunidad. ¡Espero que sea un buen blog y lo disfruten!

INGREDIENTS


  • 1/2 KG ground beef
  • 1 kg tomato sauce
  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 bell bell pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 garlic
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • pinch of thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • pinch of chili powder
  • spoonful of sugar (to break the acidity of the tomato)

  • 1 kg de salsa de tomate
  • 2 cebollas
  • 1/2 pimiento
  • 1 zanahoria
  • 3 ajos
  • 1 pastilla de caldo de gallina
  • pizca de tomillo
  • 2 hojas de laurel
  • pizca de chile en polvo
  • cucharada de azúcar (para romper la acidez del tomate)

PREPARATION


To begin, we heat a large pot with a splash of oil while we chop the onion and bell pepper. Personally, I like to use a lot of onion.

Para comenzar, dejamos calentando una olla grande con un chorro de aceite mientras picamos la cebolla y el pimiento. En lo personal, me gusta usar mucha cebolla.



While we sauté the onion and bell pepper, we cut the carrot into very small pieces. Many people do not include it in this recipe, but I love it. After cutting, we boil for 5 minutes to soften the carrots. After frying for 10 to 15 minutes, we add the minced meat and mix well.
Mientras sofreímos la cebolla y el pimiento, cortamos la zanahoria en trozos muy pequeños. Mucha gente no la incluye en esta receta, pero a mí me encanta. Después de cortar, hervimos 5 minutos para ablandar Luego de sofreír 10 o 15 minutos, agregamos la carne picada y mezclamos bien.

While we wait for the minced meat to cook and the carrot to soften, it is time to cut the garlic as small as possible. Then we strain the carrots, put everything together and mix again.
Mientras esperamos que la carne picada se cocine y la zanahoria se ablande, toca cortar el ajo lo más pequeño posible. Luego colamos las zanahorias, juntamos todo y volvemos a mezclar.


After mixing well, it is time to add the sauce. Personally, I use one half first, and after half an hour, I use the other half. If the sauce seems a little thick, you can add a glass of water to dilute it.
Luego de mezclar bien, llega el momento de agregar la salsa. En lo personal, primero uso una mitad, y después de media hora, uso la otra mitad. Si la salsa parece un poco espesa, se puede agregar un vaso de agua para diluir.


Finally, it's time for the seasonings and spices. First I added the chicken stock cube. chicken stock cube. I use this as a substitute for the salt. Then I add the 2 bay leaves.
Por último, llega el turno de los condimentos y las especias. Primero agregué la pastilla de caldo de gallina. Esto lo utilizo como remplazo de la sal. A continuación agrego las 2 hojas de laurel.


As finishing touches, we add the thyme and the chopped chili (be careful with the spiciness, it can overdo it and ruin the whole meal). Mix very well and let it cook for an hour at minimum heat so that all the flavors concentrate.
Como últimos retoques, agregamos el tomillo y el chile picado (prudencia con el picante, se pasan y arruinan toda la comida). Mezclamos muy bien y dejamos cocinar una hora a fuego mínimo para que se concentren todos los sabores.


When there are 20 minutes left for the sauce to be ready, we can put another pot with water to prepare the pasta of your choice. In my case, I used ravioli. To finish, strain the pasta, add the bolognese sauce, READY!
Cuando falten 20 minutos para que esté lista la salsa, podemos poner otra olla con agua para preparar la pasta de su preferencia. En mi caso, utilice ravioles. Para finalizar, colamos la pasta, agregamos la salsa boloñesa ¡LISTO!

And this is the final result. I swear, this is delicious. As I said before, I'm not a professional in the kitchen, but this came out great. I would love for you to try them.

That's great, when we cook for our family, we put a lot of love into the dish, so that they devour it in minutes, a very good choice of dish and easy to make.
