It was a nice surprise for me to pull off the video. I have to admit my first time attempting a video / pic of launch and wasn't expecting it. I'll have a better one next go around!

Yes, some better video's from the pro's for sure. Was still cool to film my own. Will definitely be doing more birds this summer. Maybe on the feeder, we do have hummingbirds here already.

Definitely a better view from the beach, but this great for when we don't want to fight the crowds, or last minute views.

Indeed it is going to be quite a quick ride. I'm guessing more to spy on what others may have been doing on the other side, or scout future possibilities. But not to start any conspiracy theories. lol

Been here 2 years now, and only the third one I've caught, but yes it's still a thrill and feel lucky to have so close since I'm a bit of a hermit lol.

Thanks for making the effort! Yes, The ones that make the jellyfish cloud is the rockets that feed the skytrain satellites up into the air. I think we are on the same page. :)

Not the sky train. When they launch the starlink satellites, the rocket exhaust often leaves this big jelly fish looking cloud in the sky during the early morning launches.

Exactly right. I thought the flight was going to be on the other side of that darn pole! Maybe next time I'll get to the beach for a better shot without all the houses and clutter!
