Delight in the atmosphere and cuisine at Thaewarat Raft Restaurant.

I’m back again with a post about my relaxing day at Thaewarat Raft Restaurant in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. 🌿✨ Actually, besides its beautiful historical sites, Ayutthaya is also famous for its many cafés and restaurants, especially those with riverside views along the Chao Phraya River. ☕

This was my first time visiting Thaewarat Raft Restaurant, and I came a bit by chance 😅. I originally planned to visit a café called Thewalai, but when I arrived in the early evening around 5:30–6:00 PM, the café was about to close. I peeked inside and noticed a restaurant with an amazing view 😍.

So, I decided to order some tea 🍵 and coffee ☕, and enjoy a few small dishes 🍴 while relaxing and soaking in the lovely atmosphere.

Let’s start with the café atmosphere ☕✨. Thewalai Café is a small café by the Chao Phraya River 🌊. The minimalist décor creates a very relaxing vibe 🪴. There are both indoor 🪑 and outdoor 🌿 seating areas, perfect for enjoying a peaceful moment.

Outdoor atmosphere

I liked the indoor area of the café, but I actually preferred sitting outside ☀️. The weather wasn’t too hot, so sitting outdoors, listening to the gentle sounds of the river, feeling the breeze 🍃, and enjoying my favorite drink ☕🍹 was so relaxing.

I was a little sad that I arrived in the evening 😅, but luckily, on the other side, there’s a restaurant with an even better view 😍. It’s right by the river, making the evening atmosphere feel so romantic ❤️.

This place is perfect for hanging out with family or for a date. Most importantly, it’s not too crowded, giving a very private and peaceful vibe ✨.

Restaurant atmosphere 🍽️

When you walk inside, there is an outdoor seating area 🌿 that feels more spacious than the café and is closer to the river 🌊. There’s also an indoor air-conditioned section ❄️ and a raft area, so you can choose where you’d like to sit. I decided to sit outside first before ordering food 🍴, so I could fully enjoy the river view and soak in the unique atmosphere of this place.

And here’s the food I ordered to enjoy while watching the sunset 🌅. The menu included spicy glass noodle salad (Yum Woon Sen) 🥗, shrimp cakes 🍤, cake 🍰, and hot tea ☕.

Honestly, the food and drinks here are really delicious 😋. You definitely won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for a restaurant with great flavors and a beautiful atmosphere, Thaewarat Raft Restaurant is definitely a wonderful choice 🍴✨

I spent my time relaxing while enjoying the food and drinks 🍴☕, and before I knew it, it was already dark 🌙😄. When it gets dark, the place does get a bit busier 👫, but it still feels peaceful and private ✨.

It was another day full of fun and relaxation at Thaewarat Raft Restaurant 🌅💛.
