Dinner with a View: Baybay City Boardwalk Experience

My mom told me that she had once dined at the Baybay City Boardwalk BBQ and Food Court. Based on her experience, she really liked the place because, aside from being clean, it also has a beautiful view.

When you arrive at the Baybay City Boardwalk, you’ll notice how spacious the area in front of the barbecue stalls and food court is. My mom said that in the evening, they usually turn on the fountain, which makes the place even more beautiful. However, when we visited, it wasn’t dark enough yet, so the fountain hadn’t been turned on.

As soon as you enter through the entrance, you can already feel the cool breeze gently brushing against your face. Since it’s an open space, the air can flow freely, making the whole place feel fresh and refreshing.

The first thing that caught my attention was how clean the place was, even the restrooms. Near the entrance, they also have signs clearly posted with the rules and regulations they implement.

When we arrived, there were only a few customers since it was still quite early. So, we were able to choose a table near the seaside where we could enjoy the sunset. You know, watching the sunset while having dinner by the sea is just such a beautiful experience.

Filipinos really love eating with their hands, especially when we’re having barbecue or grilled dishes. So, if you dine here, you won’t have to worry about finding a place to wash your hands because they have plenty of sinks available for customers.

So, this is what the Baybay City Boardwalk BBQ and Food Court looks like from the other side. It’s such a spacious and comfortable place, with plenty of tables for people to dine and relax.

There are so many food stalls to choose from here. The food stall doesn’t only offer barbecue, you can also have fish grilled or cooked to your liking. But since it had been quite a while since we last had barbecue, we decided to go for barbecue this time.

So, while we were eating, this was the view we had. We could actually see the sun slowly setting, although it looked a bit hazy because there was heavy haze at the time we visited. According to the reports, there were severe forest fires in Indonesia due to the intense heat, and because of the scale of the fires, the smoke traveled all the way to the Philippines, causing the hazy conditions.

After we ate, we walked around the boardwalk and took the opportunity to explore while it was still not too crowded. It was much quieter, so we could take photos without too many people around.

At that time, the sea was incredibly calm, with barely any waves. It almost looked like the ocean was peacefully asleep.

We stayed there for quite a while because the fresh air, beautiful view, and peaceful atmosphere made it such a relaxing place to spend time. My mom was also really enjoying herself. But as it started getting darker, more and more people began arriving, so we decided it was time to head home.

Overall, we really enjoyed our little dinner outing at the Baybay City Boardwalk. It was nice to have good food and a beautiful seaside view. It’s definitely a place I’d be happy to visit again, especially around sunset when you can enjoy the view while having dinner by the sea.
