Aya’s Simple Request For Her A+ Achievement At School-A Klobasa.

Yesterday, after our work, we almost forgot to buy rewards for Aya. We were near at home then suddenly my husband remembered Aya's reward.

We were round parents that Aya’s grade with all A+ or 1. Schools here in Slovakia use an application called EduPage. It’s very helpful for both parents and students because we can see everything from the EduPage— from class schedules, subjects, homework, tests, and even announcements from school. Every time I get a notification from EduPage, I always read homeworks and announcements. But this time when I opened it to check what’s new it brought something even better — Aya’s excellent grades!

My husband called Aya to ask what she wanted as a reward. I know Aya wants simple things and Táto thinks she wants more. I know my daughter, I raised her that she knows how to appreciate simple things and not to buy unimportant things-in short be materialistic. When Aya had an answer and she said- “I want klobasa Táto”. Klobasa means sausage.

So, yesterday, we ran our errands and we decided to make Aya’s wish come true. My husband drove for 30 minutes to his friend’s place who makes homemade klobasa , The drive there was calm and quiet and offered a serene view.

When we arrived, the dog immediately greeted us. We went to the room full of meat and sausages. Stepping into the room, a large chiller and the air was icy. The aroma of freshly sausages made me even more hungry. They chatted for a while and bought a few pieces of klobasa. For sure Aya will be happy about it.

On our way back, we enjoyed a spectacular view. Its truly captivating the beauty of natural environment and engineering. The landscape revealed a striking and modern architectural bridge named Komárno-Komárom Bridge-Monostori Bridge. The harvest fields stretched beneath the blue and white sky.

Watching the beautiful view from the car window, feeling grateful for everything we have and life's simple joys. Aya’s good grades, Zoe’s internship in one company in Bratislava, my family, our life and Aya’s simple request as her reward for an excellent grade.

She chose klobasa over other material things. Rewards don't have to be big and Aya's greatest joy often lie in small things like food. Simple pleasures are enough to satisfy the heart.

My husband driving home became more than just a commute, we were talking about everything that's happening in our family. Future plans, reflect and rediscover the beauty in everyday moments.

Our life and family is not perfect, full of challenges will come and go. But in these moments we find opportunities to grow, learn and appreciate small things.

Seeing kids doing their best at school, these beautiful moments to celebrate even in simple things. This makes us work harder for our kids' future and it's a big achievement for us. We cherish every small victory in life and make life worth living.
