The Mexican, an awesome decorated restaurant in Warsaw where Zorro serves cheesecake 🇲🇽

Chandeliers made from tequila-flavored beer bottles, cacti, wide-brimmed sombrero hats and many other details make it so that when you enter The Mexican restaurant you can be transported for a moment to a completely different world, to North America - to Mexico. Today I would like to show you a restaurant where I sometimes like to go with friends and which was designed in such a creative way that every corner of it hides interesting treasures.

Żyrandole zrobione z butelek piwa o smaku tequili, kaktusy, kapelusze z szerokim rondem - sombrero i wiele innych detali sprawia, że wchodząc do restauracji The Mexican można się na chwilę przenieść do zupełnie innego świata, do Ameryki Północnej - do Meksyku. Chciałabym pokazać wam dzisiaj restaurację, w której lubię czasem bywać ze znajomymi i która została zaprojektowana w tak kreatywny sposób, że każdy jej kąt skrywa ciekawe skarby.

It's clear that the person responsible for the design of this place has a well-developed black humor. At the entrance to the restaurant there's a sign: "The customer is always wrong," and in another place: "Everyone who enters this place makes us happy. Some when they arrive, and some when they leave." 😉 Powerful words. Does it sound appealing to you, or quite the opposite?

Widać, że osoba odpowiedzialna za design tego miejsca ma bardzo rozwinięty czarny humor. Przy wejściu do restauracji jest napis: "Klient zawsze się myli", a w innym miejscu: "Każdy kto wchodzi do tego miejsca sprawia nam radość. Niektórzy kiedy przybywają, a niektórzy kiedy wychodzą." 😉 Mocne. Brzmi dla was zachęcająco, czy wręcz przeciwnie?

The restaurant's menu is rich in various dishes. I once ordered a quesadilla there, but it was so-so. Recently I had a burrito and it tasted much better. They have nice drinks, e.g. strawberry margarita. There are also other interesting dishes, such as chimichanga or taquitos. Unfortunately, they charge a lot for service. We usually go there with friends in a larger group and service can cost several dozen zlotys. The waitress also makes it difficult when everyone wants to pay separately.

Menu w restauracji obfituje w rozmaite dania. Ja kiedyś zamówiłam sobie tam quesadille, ale była taka sobie. Ostatnio wzięłam burrito i smakowało mi o wiele lepiej. Mają fajne drinki, np. truskawkową margaritę. Są też inne ciekawe dania, takie jak chociażby chimichanga, czy taquitos. Tylko niestety dużo biorą za serwis. Zazwyczaj chodzimy tam ze znajomymi większą grupą i serwis potrafi kosztować kilkadziesiąt zł. Kelnerka robi też trudności, gdy każdy chce płacić osobno.

Returning to the design and architecture of this place. The walls are painted in a warm, orange color. . Large neon inscriptions glowing red attract attention. In addition to the signs showing superiority over the customers 😉 there is a cool sign: Fresh tortilla factory.

Ale wracając do designu i architektury tego miejsca. Ściany są pomalowane na ciepły, pomarańczowy kolor. Uwagę przykuwają duże neonowe napisy, świecące na czerwono. Oprócz napisów okazujących wyższość nad klientami 😉fajny jest napis: Fabryka świeżj tortilli.

I was surprised by the image of the Virgin Mary and the huge bell. It gives this place a religious atmosphere. The painting is illuminated, in a blue frame, and the flowers and candles around it make it look a bit like a chapel.

Zaskoczył mnie obrazek z Matką Boską i ogromny dzwon. Nadaje to temu miejscu religijnego klimatu. Obraz jest podświetlony, w błękitnej ramce, a znajdujące się przy nim kwaty i świeczki sprawiają, że wygląda trochę jak kapliczka.

In the center of the restaurant there is a fountain, and above it is the Mexican flag. Water flows from the fountain, and flowers float in a small spring. It gives a lot of charm to the place, and when you sit at a table and hear the sound of running water, it creates a relaxing feeling.

W centralnym miejscu w restauracji znajduje się fontanna, a nad nią flaga Meksyku. Z fontanny leci woda, a w małym źródełku pływają kwiaty. Daje to dużo uroku temu miejscu, a gdy siedzi się przy stoliku i słyszy dźwięk płynąćej wody to wywołuje to relaksujące odczucia.

Another element of the interior design are framed photos of Mexicans. They have these characteristic Mexican hats and are heavily armed. These photos create a unique atmosphere of the restaurant, which also has an unusual attraction. If you order a cheesecake, loud Mexican music is played and the cheesecake is served by a person dressed as Zorro. It looks exciting 🤠

Innym elementem wystroju wnętrza są oprawione w ramki zdjęcia z Meksykanami. Mają te charakterystyczne meksykańskie kapelusze i są mocno uzbrojeni. Te fotki tworzą unikalny klimat restauracji, która ma też niespotykaną atrakcję. Otóż jeśli zamówi się sernik, puszczana jest glośna meksykańska muzyka i sernik podaje osoba przebrana za Zorro. Wygląda to kapitalnie 🤠

The creative designer of the restaurant also decorated the walls with wanted posters 😉 You can find more or less famous customers of the restaurant on them 😆😆😆

Kreatywny twórca designu restauracji udekorował również ściany tabliczkami z listami gończymi 😉 Można na nich znaleźć mniej lub bardziej znanych klientów restauracji 😆😆😆

You can see that someone put a lot of effort into creating something different, unusual, something that will stay in the memory of the guests who have been here for a long time. This restaurant stands out from the others with its extraordinary nature. It would be great to organize a birthday party or a hen or stag party here.

Widać, że ktoś mocno się przyłożył, żeby stworzyć coś innego, niespotykanego, co zapadnie na długo w pamięci, gościom, którzy tu byli. Ta restauracja mocno się wyróżnia na tle innych, swoją nieprzeciętnością. Fajnie by tu było urządzić urodziny albo wieczór panieński lub kawalerski.
