RE: Wounds Left by the Earthquakes in My Area

You're so welcome. I understand tragedy as we face numerous flooding events in the U.S. in our area, together with hurricanes and occasionally tornadoes. Tomorrow is predicted to be a "weather alert day" with rains and flooding. We're heeded to stay put and not venture out, but as so people do, they don't heed the warnings and have to be high water rescued. It's just senseless to put yourself in danger when if true danger comes, you don't get a chance to decide whether to stay or go.

Take care.

Amazing! Well, in the worst-affected area here in Venezuela, many are saying they don't want to leave their land, but those of us who live in other areas know that place shouldn't be habitable. Tragedies happen very frequently with earthquakes and floods. That area should be a national park, not a city, but as you say, people don't listen, and today's decisions affect the future... I know the USA suffers greatly from natural disasters; here it's less frequent, but when it happens, it always leaves destruction in its wake. Thanks again, hugs!...
