Hahaha, an adventurer will always be an adventurer, I would be looking forward to it too.

Good thing you are getting to know Beth more and its capability.

Yep, that is one thing that will never change. 😋

Yes, it’s like a classic car with an own manual. And I know classic cars as had 4 of them. Driving more and more one learns what she is capable of and what she doesn’t like. Tuesday was our shopping day, driving 1 hour there and 1 hour back.
Hubby couldn’t get her started.
Let me tell you first. We had 2 weeks torrential rain and very very cold. Beth is used to Mediterranean climates, where we bought her.
So… I took over from hubby as I feel and hear what the motor does due to my experience.
So trying and trying for a while. Luckily the battery never gave up. It sounded she didn't get enough fuel. I got her motor to start. White smoke came out of the exhaust. Meaning she got to wet and was damp. After about 10 minutes she finally started to sound normal again and I drove to the shop. Once she was warm and all dried out from the rain under the motor hood. She purred like a kitten again. Haha
We are parking her now the other way around to see if the cold doesn’t effect her as much. She had not driven for a week. So we will do so now every other day, even if it will be around the area.
Things you learn right…

Hahaha you surely know a a thing or two about cars, listening to the engine and being able to interpret is admirable.
I am completely blank when it comes to that.
It sounds like as we humans have to adjust to other climates vehicles go through the same too. Interesting!

Thank you, one can learn Joe
It surely is the case with older cars and the climates they are used too.
Luckily we start driving for our final move in 10 days. Escaping the first snow that will come early this year. I hope we are on time…
Still packing boxes and getting organised. So much to do… will get there.
Have a good evening.
!LOL

This week a rainy week. Just when we load up the van. Have to try to do it all in between showers.

I am feeling better now. Still taking it slowly and recovering. It takes a long time.
I just found a pet / house sitting place for along the road end of october, we can stay at for 6 days while the owners are on a vacation trip. So a nice break from everything. We take care of some horses, chickens, dogs with puppies and kittens. Oh the photos I can take there. In sunny (hopefully) southern France.

Oh… that is so exciting Joe. I can imagine your excitement and shopping for her. December comes closer and closer. 😁
