RE: Photography Lovers: citrus leaf eating caterpillar

Yeah!... A fascinating creature and ideal photos to appreciate it!... Here in the north-central region of Venezuela we have some species of butterflies which look similar to this one of yours during their caterpillar stage. Specifically in my region we have the Papilio thoas, and I understand that the intention of its appearance is to simulate that of bird excrement and thus try to avoid the birds attack and eat them... Nature is always so wonderful!... Coincidentally, these caterpillars (those of this local species I named) are also found in citrus plants here, and that is why that species is commonly called the "Lemon Butterfly"... I suppose that the one in your photo is a "cousin" of ours! 😃... You always do excellent work @asklanbudi friend!... Congratulations and thank you for showing us this species!
