The Garden is Thriving

Are you an impatient person yourself? I am. It's annoying that I can't seem to wait.😬

To possess patience, I intentionally exposed myself to gardening for the obvious reason, I'm not the executive person in such venture.🤭

What seems to be so long, at last, it is here and I'm enjoying it; the fruit of my labor.

My cousin harvesting a squash.

When we got home, we cooked it and savor the result of our waiting, my waiting to be honest.

It looks so yummy, isn't it? It's just the squash and we put malunggay leaves for additional nutrition.

I need more waiting for there are young ones coming.

Next is..

The beloved winged beans.

Harvested a lot after some time.

Another super healthy soup. My Mom received these tiny shrimp and wow, it's sure is so delicious.

Last but not the least, I haven't took a picture focusing on it though. We've been harvesting for a while already, I was just too busy to share about it.

The string beans are the best sauteed and this time, Mom cooked it with winged beans.

With drought we're expecting, hopefully we'll be able to harvest some more before they'll die and finger crossed, they may not.

We have two calf already and a kid, grateful for the net that helped them stay away in ransacking the garden.

Nowadays, I've been wishing I lived in pre-global warming era.😭

I love farming but too much rain and too much heat is just too much to deal with especially not just my chickens getting sick with abrupt climate change but plants, their fruits are just falling off inedible. Good thing my pigs eat them even if I don't.

It's sad but this is life now.
Let me continue to thrive as a person just like how my garden does.☺️ Thank you for gifts, the tokens that keeps coming.❤️
