Colon Night Market (Part 1) 🌲✨

Its finally the time of the year. Christmas day is in a few days and I'm so happy to know that we can all celebrate Christmas freely and normally now after the virtual Christmas during pandemic.

Yes! almost and majority of what's going on now is back to normal. Though wearing of mask is still optional in the Philippines but other than that, everything feels like the same as just last few years. Simbang Gabi or Dawn Mass is also back and held at physical churches compared to last year where in, it was just held virtually in television mass or via facebook live.

The new normal includes the come back of Colon Night Market. A pretty popular bazaar in Cebu City. Local vendors sell a lot of different items, from bags, clothings, slippers, shoes to foods, drinks and so many more. Come with me as I show you around Colon Night Market and my experience with my partner.

If you're from Cebu, I'm certain that you know where is that place is. That is where the bazaar starts. The main entrance infront of Mcdonalds, Colon and Metro Colon. Booths starts to line up at night. I didn't take much pictures at that time because the place was too crowded. Only few ones when we're starting to stroll down the booths of various foods.

We decided to visit the night market on a Monday night but look how it was still crowded. Christmas it is, people are gathered together in one place.

This is our view when we found a spot where to eat our dinner. Because we were too hungry, we didn't walk far and just settled here for Pongko-pongko viands.

I know they all looks delicious but they're a bit of pricey here. Aside from this, my favorite street foods were also there of course.

I've already posted a blog about Filipino popular streetfoods here and I mentioned about Puto bumbong. Since its Christime again, puto bombong is very popular and sold out.

They also have this corn dogs and a lot more. We also bought bochi in different flavors which tasted so good! Street foods were very affordable but for some stools they're a bit pricey. After taking our dinner, we walked til the end of the bazaar and went home.

I apologize for just showing a little about Colon Night Market but I'll be back soon and maybe I can show more of what they have in store.

Happy holiday, hivers! Keep tune for part 2. ❤️🌲

When I was in college. I used to be there since it's just a walk way from my boarding house. It's good that it's already in there now. Where people will enjoy eating and buying some stuff. I love strolling around there. Thanks for sharing this. Good memories and flashbacks. God bless.
