Photo shoot with an Ice Cream shop in Danang, Vietnam!

Hello Freinds,

I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot today with a fantastic ice cream shop in Danang, Vietnam! I was amazed by the shop’s colorful and creative ice cream flavors, from creamy coconut to sweet strawberry!

Every scoop was like a work of minny frozen work of art, and the entire experience was a treat for the senses. The ice cream was delicious, and I had the chance to capture some fun shots of the shop and its flavors. The sights smells, and tastes of the ice cream shop were enough to make me never want to leave.

It was a truly delightful experience that I won't soon forget!

One of my side projects is building a growing marketing and graphics company here, so this was one of my first clients, and while I do photography, I had one of my team takes the photos while I did the art direction. They took a bunch of photos we are still editing, but these were one I took on site.

Ok, back to the photos.

It's almost like ice cream has an otherworldly quality when it comes to photography; the icy textures seem to glisten in the light, shimmering like jewels and adding an extra element of fantasy to any shot.

If you've ever captured a photo of a scoop of ice cream melting in the sun, you've likely noticed how the light catches the frozen creamy texture, creating a dreamy ethereal effect. It almost looks too good to eat! It's no wonder why so many photographers are drawn to capturing ice cream's beauty in photos; it adds a unique and vibrant element to any shot.

We also took photos of their milkshakes, and, we just could not let them go to waste after, hence they were consumed. Lol

These cherries were like something out of a dream. They floated in the glass jar like ethereal orbs, a deep dark red that seemed almost unnatural. As if they didn't belong in this world and were instead from some alien land.

The candy sprinkles glistened in the light like a carpet of miniature, rainbow-colored worms, wriggling around in an endless dance. It was a mesmerizing sight, the sheer variety of shapes and sizes creating a captivating visual display that nobody could ignore.

We did a bunch of shots on this backdrop to capture the elements we needed for future designs.

This up close photo of a Ice Cream Sunday made my day - it's beautiful enough to hang in a museum! Every swirl of the ice cream looks like a little scoop of perfection, and the cherry perched on top is a reminder of just how indulgent this treat truly is. I think it looks almost too good to eat, and I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should savor the moment and just admire it or dig in and enjoy the flavors and textures.

Alas, I had too much, and this was given to someone else. *Sigh...
