Early Morning Coffee Adventure to Son Tra in Vietnam.

Embark on a magical early morning coffee adventure to Son Tra in Vietnam! Wake up to the sounds of the ocean and the gentle sea breeze, and make your way to the breathtaking Son Tra Peninsula. Here you'll find the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee. As you savor the rich flavor of the freshly brewed cup, the sun will start to peek out from the horizon, painting the sky in a stunning display of oranges and pinks. Take in the serenity of the morning and the beauty of the landscape as you sip away - it's an experience you won't forget!

That is how my friend sold me on waking up at 4:30 Am to drive to the Mountains.

The darkness of the night was still lingering as we arrived on Son Tra Peninsula in Vietnam. The sky was heavily overcast, and the distant ocean had twinkling lights from the ships. Even in the darkness, the beauty of the landscape was breathtaking. We had come to this area for an unforgettable experience - a coffee experience.

The propane stove was lit, and the water started to boil.

The sun slowly crept up the horizon, illuminating the majestic landscape of Son Tra Peninsula. The road list up like a snake crawling across the hill side as coffee smells wafted from the kellte.

The little propane torch used to boil the water was, if anything, downright adorable. It was like a mini version of one of those gas-powered grills, all shiny and silver, but shrunken down to a much more manageable size. As the flame rose and the water began to bubble away, it seemed almost like a living creature, happily tending to its duties and content to bring refreshment to its human keeper.

Meet the coffee brew master Kit; she brewed 4 carefully crafted types of coffee from all across Vietnam for us. Each one was unique in its own way, with flavor notes ranging from sweet, nutty, and earthy, to light, floral, and smooth. We were in awe of her expert skills - she had a real talent for making the perfect cup.

Not only did she choose the right beans, but she also knew just the right amount of time to brew each one and the perfect temperature for the water. Her passion and dedication to the craft was evident in each cup she made, and we were all thoroughly impressed. We were also lucky enough to get a few tips from Kit on how to make the perfect cup of coffee.

It would be a crime to visit Danang and not take the time to explore the majestic jungle hill side of the Son Tra Peninsula. Filled with lush foliage, the hill side is a sight to behold. The vibrant greens and blues of the nature that surround you almost seem too beautiful to be real.

We had a little cup of coffee, one photo full and the next empty! Haha, it was a tiny cup, but it was still full of flavour! It had a deep, robust coffee flavour that was so satisfying and delicious. It was just enough to give us a nice boost and fill us with some energy.

The small size of the cup made it the perfect size for a quick pick-me-up. The taste was definitely worth more than its size!

We had a delightful morning picnic on the picturesque Son Tra Peninsula; surrounded by a lush green landscape, the sunrishing, and the sound of waves lapping the shore.

The view from the cliff side on Son Tra Peninsula is nothing short of EPIC. Just look at this stunning vista of the ocean stretching out into the horizon and let your spirit soar. As the waves break and the sea breeze brushes past, the horizon seems to stretch endlessly. No matter the time of day, the panorama from the cliff side of Son Tra Peninsula is a sight that is sure to take your breath away. It's a sight that will be forever ingrained in your memory - a reminder of the beauty and power of nature. Whether you're standing here alone or with friends, the view will instantly transport you to a place of peace and tranquility.

We even had some genuinely delightful snacks for our morning coffee adventure, like these little bite-sized cookies that an old Vietnamese woman had kindly gifted to one of my friends.

It looks like a person holding up their arms like, "Woopie, a cookie."

The coffee-making workstation, complete with a bit of board, grinder, finger, kettle, and more. So practical!

From the cliffside, you could see the shimmering horizon, illuminated by the bright morning light. The distant horizon was dotted with fishing boats returning from their night out on the Vietnamese sea.

We weren't alone along the cliff side, as others had come to take in the beauty of the sun rising over the horizon. Who could blame them for wanting to witness such magic? And I'm glad they were there, too - it made the experience that much more special, having the company of others to share in the moment.
