RE: Went To A Festival I Hate

A festival I hate... haha! It made me immediately think about this thing us teachers are compelled,but not obligated to attend that is called "sport day" where a mini olympics is set up for the kids at the school. We don't HAVE to go, but it will frowned upon if you don't at least make an appearance. I get decked out and go and cheer the students on for a few events, get some food, make sure the administrators see me, walk around for a bit, then sneakily escape to my motorbike and take off. One year they were looking for me for a photo and I said "oh I had to go give my landlord a ride to the bank!" and then I had to put the outfit back on and return to the field and pretend like i had been there the entire time.
