Hola querida comunidad, hoy quería compartirles mi experiencia almorzando en un restaurante que conozco desde que era una niña y siempre fue de gran preferencia entre los holguineros, recuerdo con gran emoción cuando mi madre me decía, vamos a comer en El Castillito, contando con gran fama y aceptación.

El mismo se encuentra ubicado en el complejo El Valle, y es uno de los 4 restaurantes que allí se encuentran, y cuentan con una belleza única, rodeados de la naturaleza. Cuando llegué pensé en almorzar en el restaurante el Guajiro Natural, cuya instalación me gustó mucho por sus características campestres y fama de buena comida criolla.

Pero al final me decanté por el Castillito, hacía 5 años que no lo visitaba y añoraba pasar un rato agradable y con buena vista. Lamenté mucho que el área del bar, que me gustaba mucho, estaba bastante deteriorado y cerrado. Pero el exterior y el interior se mantenía exactamente como lo recordaba.

Me gustó mucho el buen trato desde que llegué y la buena música, la verdad es que fui la única cliente desde que llegué hasta que me fui, en parte por la lejanía del lugar, lo difícil y caro que está el transporte, además de que en la ciudad cada día hay más ofertas gastronómicas.

Pedí unas bolitas de queso que estaban deliciosas, pero les faltó la clásica salsa dulce para mojar, luego como plato principal un pescado al horno y un arroz con carne de cerdo, aclarar que el pescado no tenía mal sabor, pero el hecho de no haber sido asado, sino que frito me disgustó un poco.

El arroz tenía excelente sabor, acompañé todo con plátano frito y una rica y fría cerveza. Los precios asequibles.

Me encantó el lugar a pesar de algunos detalles a mejorar y también destacar que se trata de un establecimiento del estado, que no siempre tienen las mejores condiciones, este se esfuerza por dar una excelente atención, espero les haya gustado el lugar, el complejo del Valle es grande y para disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Hi dear community, today I wanted to share my experience having lunch at a restaurant that I have known since I was a child and it has always been of great preference among the people of Holguín, I remember with great emotion when my mother used to say to me, let's go eat at El Castillito, counting with great fame and acceptance.

It is located in the El Valle complex, and it is one of the 4 restaurants that are there, and they have a unique beauty, surrounded by nature. When I arrived I thought about having lunch at the Guajiro Natural restaurant, whose installation I liked a lot for its countryside characteristics and fame of good Cuban food.

But in the end I chose the Castillito, it had been 5 years since I last visited it and I yearned to spend a pleasant time with a good view. I was very sorry that the bar area, which I liked a lot, was quite deteriorated and closed. But the exterior and interior were exactly as I remembered them.

I liked the good treatment since I arrived and the good music, the truth is that I was the only customer from when I arrived until I left, partly because of the distance of the place, the difficulty and the expense of the transportation, in addition to the fact that in the city there are more and more gastronomic offers every day.

I ordered some cheese balls that were delicious, but they lacked the classic sweet sauce to dip, then as a main course a baked fish and a rice with pork, to clarify that the fish did not have a bad taste, but the fact of not having been roasted, but fried I was a little disgusted.

The rice had excellent flavor, I accompanied everything with fried plantain and a rich and cold beer. The prices were affordable.

I loved the place despite some details to improve and also to highlight that it is a state establishment, which does not always have the best conditions, this one strives to give an excellent attention, I hope you liked the place, the complex of the Valley is large and to enjoy the nature.
