The festival is celebrated with full enthusiasm in all over the Maharashtra.

Maharashtra is definitely the best place for celebration. I had been there once and I did a post, the celebration just goes on the entire night.
In Mumbai people celebrate for seven days in case of community pandala... other individuals general do the visarjan in 2nd day...
But it is must watch festival in Mumbai and Pune...
Ya, its mega celebration.
