While it has been many years since I have had a cat living in the same house as me I do appreciate their incredible ability to sleep 18-20 hours a day followed by half an hour of insane levels of activity. Have you had an incident of the Meow freaking out at 3am for no particular reason yet?

I realize your comment is 5 days old, but you place wrote this 1 night after the first two nights she did the ole' godless killing machine freakout. I've learned that if I snatch her and hold close to me for 10 minutes she calms back down, but I have to suffer a few soft bites and scratches to get a hold of her. Monkey-B was the first member of our family to have Meow draw blood. Now I'm teaching her how the shape of a claw isn't friendly to anything being pulled in the opposite direction, so when some claws grab you, you just have to go with the flow instead of jerk away.
