Thankfully, the Pacific Northwest climate is relatively mild, and we don't tend to get freezes until quite late. But we do have an issue with lacking sun, sometimes.

I'm thinking some peach trees next spring. There were no fruit trees here when we moved in. And no garden. We got to start from scratch which is fun but now I am also running out of space.

We got out on an early walk today before the rain and many of the trees are bare from the gusty wind all night 🙁 its all down hill to winter from now on lol

I think tourists and lack of other shopping options keep these going. Not even a gas station or convenience store in most places. Plus tradition. The locals like them and support them.
