Grateful Moments at Luneta Park & The Manila Hotel

Hello, Hive Family! In my last post I was diving into the serene atmosphere of Manila's historic Luneta Park, and my base for exploring this stunning area with its gardens, old buildings, and statues was the majestic The Manila Hotel - the oldest premiere hotel in the Philippines, built in 1909 - where I stayed for two nights.

In this first pic you see me standing in front of the National Museum of the Philippines.

My room.

Here is a glimpse of the hotel's beautiful corridors, covered with soft carpet.

View of the lobby area.

My stay at The Manila Hotel has been a highlight. From the delicious food to the impeccable service, everything has been outstanding. It was a truly luxurious experience that I feel so blessed to have enjoyed.

I am filled with gratitude for the chance to be there, savoring every moment.

Below you see the food served in the hotel's Italian restaurant.

I also could have focused on other aspects of the hotel but as a real food lover I have no other choice than closing with some pics of the breakfast buffet and all its wonderful options, hehe.

I hope you enjoyed this post arising from my spontaneous desire to share this slice of happiness with you all. So thankful!

Yes, I liked the hotel a lot: a comfortable room, friendly staff, good food, and also a big swimming pool...!

Wow, I suddenly miss Luneta Park. That used to be my tambayan every Saturday night of December. It's been 2 years since I last visited Luneta.

Hi @gen-quimba, the hotel looks really nice, as a lover of food I would also not have resisted sharing all the delicious food! Looking forward to reading more about life in the Philippines. I read about your book on @agmoore's blog. Sounds good, congratulations on publishing it!

Thanks so much! It was a long journey to publish it, but ever since I started writing diary entries years ago, I told myself I would write a book one day. When I went back to my country, that time had come. I would be more than happy if you read it, too, and told me your opinion...

Looking forward to reading more about life in the Philippines.

I try to write regularly here, but until I publish my next post, you can check out the older ones in the meantime, hehe. 😊

I will do that, thank you! I can imagine it must be a lot of work that goes into publishing.
Enjoy the weekend @gen-quimba <3
