Ngee Fou's Ampang-style Yong Tou Fou

Although, there is a wide variety of cuisine types that are available here in Singapore. I haven't tried them all yet but I'm listing the hawker food stalls that I wanted to order from shortly.

For today's lunch, I went back to Ngee Fou's restaurant in Springleaf because I was craving something healthy and delicious at the same time. Here's what I got!

I arrived at the place an hour past lunchtime. There was a long queue which didn't surprise me because the food was worth the wait. Most of the people who were queuing were from this district. Lucky them, because the nice restaurant is just a few minutes walk from their place.

I like this particular type of Yong Tou because it's flavorful and there are plenty of dietary fibers in this dish. It will be good with my recent indigestion issue.

This particular dish has a standard mix of items on its display shelf. A customer is allowed to remove the ingredient that you don't like however, I prefer the standard mix without adding extra items to it. The standard mix of ingredients feels good enough for me.

The freshly boiled water crest is one of my favorites in this dish. It was blanched and then they drizzled a sweet-savory sauce over the mix. I'm starting to like tofu because it is high in protein while it has a very low quantity of calories.

Since I'm already here in Springleaf, I took this opportunity to go to Han's to eat a nice Mango Mousse cake and it was amazing.

My journey to the world of food.
