I hope I still managed to clock in my post before the closing of the "Finding Yellow Everywhere" contest.

All I had for lunch was at McDonald's, and realized that there was yellow everywhere I looked. Because of the contest theme, I have become aware and observant about the color yellow. Instinctively, I was taking photos of every object that was yellow or a majority of it with that color.

I seldom go to a fastfood chain to get lunch because I prefer something more authentic. I think you can observe the posts that I make regularly however, today felt like I needed a random change. My taste buds are looking for something different from my usual food preference.

I guess it has something to do with the contest that I was drawn into finding the color yellow. With the Golden Arches that are visible from afar, I simply gave in and ordered a Double Cheeseburger meal.

The bright yellow coffee machine is the most iconic piece on this counter, there's no doubt about it.

I think that the color yellow has a powerful effect on our eyes and it has become a common choice when it comes to places of food. If you do a simple search on Google about the effects of this color, it is said that yellow is associated with happiness and enthusiasm. However, it's also associated with caution and anxiety on the negative side.

That's maybe the reason why it's also commonly found painted on the streets or poles next to the road.
