Double Egg Prata, my comfort food amongst Indian cuisine

There was a time when I attempted to cook my version of a chicken curry. I don't have skill in cooking so I thought that if I followed the recipe that was written on the back of ready-mix curry powder then I would get it right. I was happy that I made it to the point that it's edible however it wasn't fantastic. It was miles away when compared to the curry of one of my favorite Indian-Muslim restaurants which is named using the first 3 letters of the alphabet: ABC Restaurant.

I ordered my favorite Prata flavor, the double egg prata!

The place has an open dining hall which makes this place feel like a bistro, which I like. I prefer eating in places like this where it doesn't have to be too formal. A good place, with a price that fits my budget, and the friendliness of the staff are more than enough reasons for me to put this restaurant on my Top 10 list.

I have tried single egg prata and it felt like the egg was unable to fill in the prata itself. I have always thought that prata is a fun food for everyone especially when the curry is so nicely done.

I think the double egg prata has the perfect ratio between the prata and the egg filling. Every part of the prata has egg filling in it, and an even distribution means enjoyment throughout the meal experience.

And of course, this meal is best paired with a cold iced lemon tea! It's the homebrewed version. I asked for an extra lemon for an extra source of Vitamins.

My journey to the world of food.

I think lemon tea is a very good drink for my health. Almost every time I eat at a party, I choose coke and carbonated drinks, which are not good at all.

That’s right. I used to drink soda a couple of years ago and I noticed that I often get sick so I’m slowly making changes in my eating habits by changing my drinks to the ones that are either homemade and less sugar 😅

Cooking according to package directions is not a good idea. When starting out, buy a cookbook, but follow the recipe only as a guide. Use feeling and instinct. Cooking is about instinct, an idea of what might be good to eat. There are very few recipes that must not be changed. Mainly some Italian dishes like spaghetti. But otherwise instinct and imagination

It is said that Indian food has a lot of combination of flavors, I can confirm it in this post.

I think it is a delicious recipe.
