Beef with ginger & onion at 52 Seafood Kitchen

It’s dinner time! I was thinking of a unique dish that I’ll have until I pass by the 52 Seafood Kitchen at the Jalan Sultan area. I used to go to this place because of their opening promos in which I got free drinks and free food after gaining points on my previous orders from them. And of course, the food is good as well.

I think I have eaten more than half of their rice dishes which are all good. My favorite would be the Salted Chicken rice because of the “umami” taste of the sauce. I think that the sauce alone can make any deep-fried battered protein taste good.

Tonight, I ordered the Beef with Ginger and onion and a bowl of rice as well.

I haven’t feeling well since the other day so I thought that eating something that has ginger would make me feel better.

Among the many health benefits of ginger that I truly care about is the improvement of immunity, better digestion, and healthier skin (I hope it’s true 😅).

If there’s one quality that made this delicious is the “char” flavor. Even the onion and the sauce alone can already taste like a dish on its own. This is the kind of flavor that can only be achieved by a skillful Chinese cook who knows how to handle the Wok and the fire to stir fry these ingredients.

What I like about this dish is that there are only a few ingredients but it already has nice flavors in it. I guess it's about the freshness of the ingredients and also the quality of it.

I'm glad that this place is still open even in the late hours of the night. It's good that there's a place that I can go to if I want to have a nice meal that is affordable as well.

My journey to the world of food.

Haven't had beef for months already. I might buy one later today. It looks like an easy dish with simple ingredients as I see some beef, onions, ginger and Chinese cabbage sauteed with oyster sauce and some spices.

But for sure there are some complexities to it as fire technique is a must with Chinese dishes.

I might try this one.

This one looks good, the thought of beef is actually enough for me.
