A taste of Japanese Fusion style bento box

I'm amazed at what they do here in My Kampung food center, they try to emulate the hawker food culture while adding the comfortable space of a shopping mall. I often come here to eat the Malaysian version of the mixed-veggie rice but for today, I'm giving the Japanese Fusion stall a taste test.

My order was the bento box-style fried chicken with a slice of salmon.

Before I dig into the food, let me share my thoughts about the look of the stall.

The first thing that I notice is the striking look of the signage. The quality of the workmanship is good and well-refined. I think that every hawker stall owner should engage the maker of this signage. I'm saying this because it will definitely have an impact with the way the customer perceive your product.

I rarely eat bento-style food because of its expensive price however, this one right here seems like it's pricing their dishes right. An S$7.50 bill for this serving of food is something that I won't hesitant to pay. I think that it's fairly priced and it looks like the food is of good quality as well.

The dish comes with a free serving of miso soup with kelp. I enjoyed this free soup because it tasted nice and healthy as well.

Among the proteins, the slice of salmon is the one that elevated this bento box. I like the overall feel of the dish and I enjoyed the flavor of each dish. I will try the other items in their menu and that's for sure!

My journey to the world of food.
