A Delightful Karaage Chicken + Saba Bento Lunch

I made a unique choice for today's lunch, a Japanese Fusion! This is something that I rarely go for. If I had a choice between the Korean version and this Japanese style, I would go for the one with kimchi. I prefer the Korean version of this dish because it is more flavorful and the chicken will be cooked together with the sauce. Regardless, I still went for this dish because I wanted to have a unique lunch experience for today.

I ordered the 4th item on the menu which is the Karaage Chicken + Saba Bento!

One thing that I truly appreciate about the Japanese style of presentation is the way they organize the dishes, sauce, and other items in this bento-style plate. It looks beautiful! There's order and balance when it comes to the emphasis on the main subject of this meal.

In this bento box, I had the pleasure of eating a serving of Karaage chicken, pickled vegetables, grilled Saba fish, steamed rice, and a complimentary mayonnaise.

It was my first time to order from this stall and I'm glad that I did. The serving portions of the dishes made me feel that my money was well spent. I was fully satisfied after finishing the food.

Most of the time, I only spent around S$5 for a mixed-veggie rice meal while this meal cost me S$7.50 which is more on the pricier side.

There are other items on the menu that I would like to try on my next visit. The stir-fried beef looks delicious and the salmon dishes also look interesting.

My journey to the world of food.
