A comforting bowl of Wanton Noodles Soup by Flavorful Origins
I’m not feeling so well today so I went to my go-to handmade noodle soup to relieve the symptoms of my flu before it gets worse. I walked under the rain this morning so now I’m facing the consequences of it. I’m not so tough when it comes to cold or rain that’s why I easily get sick during the rainy season.
I already how to deal with it. Aside from hydrating and rest, it’s also a must to eat something comforting and healthy. The Flavorful Origins hawker stall in Golden Mile Food Center has all the good stuff when it comes to noodles and dumplings.
I ordered the Dumpling Noodles Soup however, they ran out of dumplings so the owner suggested an alternative which is the wanton.
There are specific dishes in Chinese cuisine that are known for their simplicity when it comes to taste and flavor. This Wanton noodle soup is one of those dishes that gives me the feeling of comfort without the guilt because it tastes healthy and satisfying.
The vegetables that I got for this meal are the young stalks. It’s so cute yet it tastes well with the soup.
The wanton as an alternative is good but I still feel that dumplings are best suited for this dish. It’s maybe because I’m already used to it. I can find the taste that I’m looking for in the wanton.
I think I got lucky because I was the one who ordered last and then they already closed their shop. A minute too late then there’s no other option for me aside from the Western food stalls.
The noodles look so good, it's a lot I don't eat noodles you make me starving 💯
Yay! 🤗
