This Friday Is A Market Day As I Went To Two Different Market Today.
Hello my dear friends…
In this week Market Friday, i will share my market journey of the day and i went to two places for two different reasons. The first one are one of our biggest traditional market, Pasar Simpang Limun. I went there with my mom to go buy some jewelry for my mom (and for me if i like something). Initially, we’re planned to go there by motorbike but suddenly my mother changed her mind. She said that its too hot to ride a motorbike so we’re going there by car. The location was a bit far from my house but i prefer to use motorbike to go there because the parking lot is a bit difficult. I was worried about the parking because the last time i went there, I scratched our car a bit.
This is the parking lot and as we can see from here, there’s not too many people in the traditional market that day. Maybe it was because of the scorching hot weather, or we just able to arrived before or after the busy waves. I managed to come and get out from there without any scratch on my car.

In the second market, its my usual friday tradition to on the occasion of my wedding day which will be held next month. I bought some necessities to be shared to people in need. I am very very excited to do this every week. Other than the usual, i decided to make a new addition for this week package, which is eggs. I think that maybe have some eggs can help people even by little. There might be people that cant buy eggs so if i only gave them rice, they will only eat rice without any dishes. But, if i gave them eggs they can eat it with rice as their dishes. I also bought the palm oil with it so they can eat them with it. Maybe next week i will do some variations, i can changed the eggs with instant noodle. Thats seems like a good idea too.

I agree, in going to traditional market like this, it is mauch better to bring a motorbike rather than a car.
Yet, I don't have both so I just take public transpo😅
Public transportation is good too especially in hot weather because you dont get too much exposure from the sun

Thank you!
That is a very interesting shopping experience! That is the best time to go, isn't it? In between the busy and when there is a lull in people? It looks like a huge market! Are the prices high or low? Have they been going up?
Thank you for supporting #MarketFriday! It has always been interesting to walk through a post and get a view of another part of our world. I have read all of the posts, many twice, and it is always a pleasure. Unfortunately, I had something unexpected this week, taking me out of town, so I didn't get to post my personal comment to you. My apologies and it is not a habit as I know everyone works hard to put together great posts. I had wonderful posts this week! I hope that you take the time to go around and check a few out. It makes a better community when the interaction is genuine! Thank you! It helps me out when I am not the only comment on a post. :)
Thank you so much! It is very appreciated!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
