Aprovechando que había una razón para volver a la comuna 13, puesto que la familia de José quería conocer este lugar tan visitado por todas las personas que vienen aquí, decidimos ir y comer cosas deliciosas que venden durante el recorrido. La verdad es que nos dimos cuenta que la comuna 13 fué ampliada y ahora puedes caminar un poco más en ella y seguir observando este lugar donde puedas pasar un buen tiempo con la familia o amigos.

Taking advantage of the fact that there was a reason to return to commune 13, since José's family wanted to know this place so visited by all the people who come here, they looked to go and eat delicious things that are sold during the tour. The truth is that we realized that commune 13 was expanded and now you can walk a little more in it and continue observing this place where you can spend a good time with family or friends.

Como nosotros estabamos en el centro comercial Arkadia, decidimos tomar un taxi que nos dejara en la estación de metro más cercana la cual era Aguacatala, ese es el nombre. Una vez estabamos en esta estación, viajamos en dirección al norte hasta llegar a San Antonio para después hacer transferencia en San Javier y es así como una vez aquí salimos de la estación San Javier y tomamos un taxi hasta la comuna 13, el cual sale muy económico, costó aproximadamente unos 6000 pesos colombianos.

Since we were in the Arkadia shopping center, we decided to take a taxi that would drop us off at the nearest metro station, which was Aguacatala, that's the name. Once we were at this station, we traveled north until we reached San Antonio and then made a transfer in San Javier and that is how once here we left the San Javier station and took a taxi to commune 13, which is very economical, it cost approximately 6000 Colombian pesos.

Lo primero que observamos al llegar fueron las paredes pintadas de una manera tan espectacular, además del montón de souvenirs, accesorios, ropa con frases paisas y cuadros que venden en pequeñas tiendas que vas observando durante el camino. La verdad visitar a la comuna es muy divertido, además de entretenido, no está de más comprar una cerveza para ir conversando con tus acompañantes y hacerte un par de fotos mientras sigues caminando.

The first thing we noticed when we arrived were the walls painted in such a spectacular way, in addition to the pile of souvenirs, accessories, clothes with country phrases and paintings that are sold in small shops that you will observe along the way. The truth is visiting the commune is a lot of fun, as well as entertaining, it doesn't hurt to buy a beer to chat with your companions and take a couple of photos while you keep walking.

Entramos a varias tiendas para ver los souvenirs y así elegir algunos para comprarlos y llevarlos de recuerdo. La comuna 13 tiene su historia, no la conozco aún pero puedes elegir pagar un guía que te de a conocer como surgió la comuna 13. Si deseas también venden unas cervezas artesanales muy buenas o unos helados ácidos para comer con tajin, definitivamente encuentras muchas cosas aqui y de seguro que terminas comprando porque se vuelve un antojo.

We went to several stores to see the souvenirs and thus choose some to buy and take as souvenirs. Comuna 13 has its history, I don't know it yet but you can choose to pay a guide who will let you know how Comuna 13 came to be. If you want, they also sell some very good craft beers or sour ice cream to eat with tajin, you will definitely find many things here and surely you end up buying because it becomes a craving.

Entramos a la casa de Neón de la comuna 13 donde das un aporte voluntario y te dejan pasar a hacerte fotos, además te prestan unos lentes que te permiten ver las pinturas en 3D lo que se vuelve una experiencia imperdible. Lo mejor de esta casa es cuando está sola y así puedes tomarte todas las fotos que quieras con tranquilidad, quizas por la época no había tanta gente pero normalmente siempre está full y es casi que te topas con las demás personas.

We enter the Neón house in commune 13 where you make a voluntary contribution and they let you in to take photos, they also lend you glasses that allow you to see the paintings in 3D, which becomes an unforgettable experience. The best thing about this house is when it is alone and that way you can take all the photos you want with peace of mind, perhaps at the time there were not so many people but it is usually always full and you almost run into other people.

Nosotros seguimos caminando y estabamos en busca de tomarnos unas refrescantes bebidas o comer algo muy de aquí. Observamos que habían arepas con leche condensada que definitivamente no he probado y aún no quiero hacerlo puesto que la combinación dulce y salado entre estos dos me parece un poco extraño, también consigues chuzos y mazorcas asadas dulces o saladas con mantequilla la cuales lucían deliciosas y terminamos comprando algunas para deleitarnos.

We kept walking and we were looking to have some refreshing drinks or eat something very local. We noticed that there were arepas with condensed milk that I definitely haven't tried and still don't want to since the sweet and salty combination between these two seems a bit strange to me, you also get chuzos and sweet or salty roasted corn with butter which looked delicious and we finished buying some to delight ourselves.

Ya casi para terminar nuestro recorrido, decidimos entrar y hacernos fotos en un sitio donde estan las letras COMUNA13. Si vienes aquí, es una foto que deberías hacerte si o si puesto que es muy de este sitio. Tenías dos opciones a elegir, comprar un paquete de ellos donde te hacen fotos y videos con un dron donde unos personas te guían para que resulte un buen trabajo, además te imprimen una foto de recuerdo y las demás las envian a tu dispositivo o la otra opción es un aporte voluntario donde ellos mismos te hacen las fotos con tu teléfono y al finalizar tienes todo en tu dispositivo y puedes continuar el paseo rápidamente.

Almost to finish our tour, we decided to go in and take pictures in a place where the letters COMUNA13 are. Y fué así como la pasamos increíble, desde disfrutar unas deliciosas mazorcas y refrescantes cervezas, conociendo y platicando en el camino. Nos dimos cuenta que estan invirtiendo dinero en la ampliación de la comuna 13 y así el paseo se hace más largo, además hay muchas nuevas cosas. Si no has venido o tienes mucho tiempo sin venir, debes visitar la comuna13, te encantará.

And that's how we had an incredible time, from enjoying some delicious corn on the cob and refreshing beers, getting to know each other and chatting along the way.
