RE: Stepping into a New World...

The real estate transactions can be so stressful. It seems like everyone has their hand out asking for fees for this and for that! Although the process has been streamlined quite a bit since I bought my first home in 1998, it's something I never get used to.

Those quilts are gorgeous. Some of them remind me of the neighborhood we stayed in during our last trip to Amsterdam in 2019!

The glimpses of your new home look nice! I can't wait to see more! I hope you're taking care of yourself and resting enough during this transition.

I just cannot believe there's so much paperwork! Sign, sign, signature, sign...and so it went on! A lot of it was for the body corporate of the estate. At least we've done the first round, I believe there's more to come, not too long now.
I'm so glad I started minimizing a while back, has made packing so much easier.

Really looking forward to moving now, and I'll still come back here from time to time to give them a hand.
Thank you Eric, I'm getting the odd anxiety but I suppose it's natural, so much happening at the same time. I haven't been feeling well but I think it's cabin fever, need to get out:)

They've streamlined a lot of the paperwork here in the US. It's a lot less overwhelming than it used to be but there are still so many fees and taxes that have to be paid!

I'm glad to hear you're looking forward to it! That's a good frame of mind to be in when we're going through big changes like this. Getting out into the world and nature will be just the thing you need, I'd bet! I hope you enjoy the weekend, Lizelle!

Thank you so much Eric. I'm still waiting to see about the fees and taxes!
It's been a cold weekend, but it's been good. I hope you're having a good Sunday!

You're welcome, Lizelle! I hope it's not too bad! We had bad storms last night and are supposed to get hit with something called a derecho tonight. I'd never heard that term before in my life.

Gosh, I've never heard that term either, sounds scary! I do hope you'll be ok, especially now you're in a free-standing house. Not much one can do except make sure everything is put away and all windows and doors are closed up tightly! Take care Eric🙏
