Some Delicious Broadway Pizzas for Saturday's Lunch

Today is Saturday and I had not planned to go out but to enjoy myself at home watching AEW Dynamite and Rampage shows. But, I got a call from my daughter's school to visit them and collect her admission docket as we had applied for her grade VI studies.

After visiting the school I felt a bit hungry and thought to get some pizzas from a nearby Broadway Pizza outlet. I went there and ordered some juicy, cheesy, spicy, and supremely delicious pizzas.

The first pizza you see in the pics is Godspell Beef Load flavor, I like beef pepperoni and sliced sausages on the topping along with some veggies. The 2nd pizza is for the little buddy my 4-year-old son, as he demanded this particular shape after looking at the menu. 3rd pizza is a Phantom flavor, it is spicy and contains some jalapeño pepper slices, sausages, mushrooms, marinated chicken chunks, olives, and lots of bell pepper. And the 4th pizza is a Wicked Blend flavor, it is almost similar to Phantom, but it contains some extra sliced onions and smoked chili pepper.

Well, I brought the pizzas home and we had a very appetizing lunch with these rich flavored pizzas and some minty drinks. Everyone enjoyed the meal and then we watched kids' content on YouTube with my children.

Broadway Pizza clicks me up Broadway Street, Manhattan, which is popularly known for its theaters and acting schools in New York. Although, Broadway Pizza has no connection with NY's Broadway Street since it was established in Minneapolis in 1961 by Eddie Peck after buying Spallacci’s.

It seems that Broadway Pizza has not grown much in the US, but the company might have sold franchise rights to some interested businesspersons, who kept the same name along but changed its menu and logo design.

Pizza is a calorie-rich meal that contains high amounts of carbohydrates and fats. Although there may be some healthy things in it like fiber and proteins, consuming too many commercial pizzas can lead to different health issues, some notable health risks associated with pizzas are obesity, type-II diabetes, constipation, and increased uric acid.

A typical pizza slice contains an average of 300 Calories according to this calories charts, calories can be low or high depending on the ingredients and excess of cheese and meat toppings.

It is not counted in healthy foods, but you can make some healthy veg pizzas at home with whole grain flour, vegetables, and fiber-rich ingredients. Once in a while pizza meal is fine, but try not to consider it a regular meal unless you make one at home with known nutrition facts.

Our health is ours to control and keep fit and well. Regular exercise may be a useful habit to keep our calories burned and have a healthy and happy life.
