RE: Wednesday Walk : Snowy Roy Street, Montreal

Never been to Montreal, but heard great stories about this city. Now I see how beautiful some of the architecture is. Love the houses and buildings in your photographs. And such an amount of street art, more or less untouched by spraypaint signs (well, some do have them, but mostly I see beautiful 'paintings').

It's a beautiful city with lots of street art, good restaurants, and a few local breweries. Perfect for a few days' holiday.
Thanks for your support
Have a great day

A few days only?
I think I can stay longer, since I like to just hang out and stroll.
Perhaps this will happen one day. Nothing planned yet, but somewhere on my list for quite some time already.

Been to Vancouver a few times for a few months in a row, for work, but had plenty of time to njoy as well. Not so much a beautiful city, but very pleasant to hang out, and the surrounding nature is fantastic. Even skied on the nearest mountain, Cirrus hill or something, 15 minutes or so from downtown. That is amazing to me. Skiing and 'beach' at 15 minutes distance, wow.

I think a few days are enough for Montreal; it's less historically significant than European cities, for example. But it can serve as a base for exploring the rest of Quebec.

I've never been to Vancouver; it's also on my list, but like you, it's not scheduled yet. Whistler is also nearby, a large ski resort...

Have a great Friday, weekend is coming.

Thanks, will make a mental note of this. And yes, rest of Quebec is to be explored as well.

Whistler: visited it one or two times. Didnt ski there though, one time it was closed, the other time I didn't had the time.
Been to APEX Mountain Resort, though. A few hours' drive to the east of Vancouver. Small village but plenty of ski slopes, mostly black, single and double diamond. Loved it. Whirlpool outside, and the snow to cool down and get the massive tingling body when jumping back into it.

NJOY the weekend 🙏
