Or should I call it a barbie (bbq) fest? This might be the most common look of a BBQ in these parts of the world. Many people do almost nothing to those pieces of meat before placing them on the heat, just add some salt and pepper and that's it. Depending on the cut of meat, a prior marinade can help a lot with the taste and tenderness and juiciness of the meat, but most people I've seen are in a hurry to get a burnt piece of meat and that makes them happy enough.
