Yes, you can call it heavy, but it's darn tasty and it will keep you full for a few good hours. This is actually a lighter version of an even heavier dish wich includes a lot more meat but that take longer to cook. Sausages, fat bacon, sour cheese and polenta, you can't go wrong with this taste combination. YumYum
