Today I am happy to write about my experience in a restaurant that I met a few days ago, while enjoying the architecture and all the art present in it, "Cocoa Cultural Center", popularly known as the Casona Rosada, whose concept and menu I loved.

It is "Nutrí Crea" of the International Chef Paola Pinto, who offers us the opportunity to eat very rich, but in a healthy way. I had never had the opportunity to eat in a place like this, where they take care of every detail to have a wonderful experience, demonstrating with different delicious options and a great seasoning that healthy is not synonymous with boring or tasteless.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by their chef, with a huge smile and great cordiality, he immediately offered my little son, who accompanied me this day, some gluten free cookies that he loved. In the bar of their small reception, they had on display, various healthy desserts, free of gluten and refined sugars as these carrot croquettes, brownie and chocolate cambur, gluten free cookies, almond croquettes, among others.

At first, I was hesitant to eat at the place because my son, so far when it comes to eating out, only wants fries, chicken or pizzas, he has not yet been given the opportunity to try hamburgers or hot dog, but they offered me a service of fries but using the air fryer. This, also my first time to try, something prepared in this type of oven, so after some thought I chose a Chinese rice and for my boy a potato service with a blackberry juice.

We sat in their beautiful room that they share with a chocolate shop and a few minutes later they brought us to the table the delicious blackberry juice, I really liked that they gave us the option to choose, the amount of sugar, my son initially tried it without sugar and said: Mmmm it is spicy, Hahaha, but this is not negative, because he uses the word spicy in several contexts. We sweetened it, to taste and it was really delicious, you could feel the flavor of the blackberries, it was concentrated, refreshing, if I was not sharing the drink with my son, I would have surely left it without sugar.

Su menú ofrece diversas opciones para el desayuno, como panquecas, papas rellenas y croquetas, para el almuerzo, arroz chino, pasticho de plátano, cremas de vegetales, hamburguesas y ese día su especialidad era patacones.

Al principio, tenía dudas de comer en el lugar porque mi hijo, hasta ahora cuando se trata de comer fuera de casa, solo quiere papas fritas, pollo o pizzas, no se ha dado aún la oportunidad de probar hamburguesas o perro calientes, pero ellos me ofrecieron un servicio de papas fritas pero usando la freidora de aire. Esta, también es la primera vez que pruebo, algo preparado en este tipo de hornos, así que después de pensar un poco elegí un arroz chino y para mi niño un servicio de papas con un jugo de mora.

Nos sentamos en su bella sala que comparten con una chocolatería y a los pocos minutos nos llevaron a la mesa el delicioso jugo de mora, me gustó mucho que nos dieran la opción de elegir, la cantidad de azúcar, mi hijo lo probó inicialmente sin azúcar y dijo: Mmmm está picante, Jajaja, pero esto no es negativo, porque él usa la palabra picante en varios contextos. Lo endulzamos, a gusto y estaba realmente delicioso, se sentía el sabor de las moras, estaba concentrado, refrescante, si no estuviese compartiendo la bebida con mi hijo, seguramente lo hubiese dejado sin azúcar.

The Chinese rice was 10/10, you could tell the difference from what you are used to eating in Chinese restaurants in Venezuela, but it was delicious, loose, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection.
