Many friends around me love teppanyaki because when you choose a main dish, the chef cooks it on the iron griddle on the spot and serves it with two side dishes, usually cabbage and bean sprouts. After the chef skillfully flips and cooks everything on the iron griddle, they drizzle it with a unique teppanyaki sauce, making it appetizing and perfect with rice. It's a taste you can't experience at home.

I heard that teppanyaki is considered a high-end cuisine in Japan. Teppanyaki restaurants in Japan often offer premium ingredients for the main dishes, such as wagyu beef, Ise lobster, or abalone. These ingredients are already costly, and the iron griddle evenly heats them, ensuring nothing is overcooked and locking in the delicious flavors. Additionally, you get to witness the chef's live cooking performance, making teppanyaki a luxurious dining experience in Japan.

This time, I dined at Teppanyaki by Chamonix, which is part of the Wowprime Group. As you know, Wowprime is known for its service, and the food is of decent quality. Since it's a formal set meal with appetizers, main course, dessert, and drinks, it's quite satisfying. It's different from the inexpensive teppanyaki places you find on the street but not quite on par with the standards of high-end teppanyaki restaurants.

The sakura shrimp fried rice, highly recommended by everyone, is like my friend said – you can keep asking for refills. If you feel like you haven't had enough and want more, you can request additional servings. During my meal, the staff proactively offered to refill the sakura shrimp fried rice for me. However, I had only eaten the appetizers and soup, and I was already halfway full. I needed to leave some room in my stomach to savor the main course, the cheese-covered beef steak, so I had to decline. For the final beverage, we moved to a quieter area to enjoy it, digest, and chat about some friend gossip.

I admit I made a slight mistake in my choices this time. Some friends next to me ordered steak and seafood, which looked more delicious and had smaller portions but were full of atmosphere. Watching the steak dance in the flames, the chef's skillful handling of the spatulas, and the presentation of delicious ingredients in front of us created a feast for the senses.
