Hello, friends especially foodies!

Recently i took mommy and my boyfriend to a relaxing place where we spent our afternoon. They had never been to this place before, but once i had ever been there with my besties.. In that well known restaurant, we could find tasty gelato and also others.

The name of the well known restaurant is Rivareno Gelato.

It was a bit raining when we arrived there, and the restaurant is located in Urban Forest. Urban Forest is an area provided for restaurants and some stores, with green open fresh air concept. You could see many plants at the front of the restaurant.

It was around 4.30 pm and inside lots of customers were queuing up there before us. Wow! I could see that the rain was not a barrier for them.

Catchy, they hung some of the gelato scoop in the frame like below. Could you find it among the frames?

I paid attention on the picture showing their collab menus, titled La Crusta di Riva - where gelato meets cheese tart.

They only provided two kind of it: medditeraneo and nordico.

But i should skip it, yes, cheese tart is not my thing.

In the corner where they had big metal boquets with gelato, you could taste them before choosing.

The choices are divided in some categories:

• For traditional, they have nocciola, fior di panna, pistacchio and cioccolato.
• For rivareno specialities, they have sweet alabama, yogurt, caramello salato, and cremino rivareno.
• For specials, they have caffe, bacio, strawberry fields, and crema biscotto.
  And For fruit sorbets, they have limone, frutti di bosco, and sorbetto pistacchio.

But if you don't want gelato, no need to worry because they have some other menus like crepes, waffles, milkshake, fruit soda, and hot chocolate. They also have some kind of coffee like espresso, ristretto, macchiato, long black, americano, lungo, mochaccino, latte, cappuccino, magic, picollo, gibraltar, and frappuccino. And they have some tea and mineral water too.

Wait a minute, they had choices of crepes and waffles too. Look at the picture, all looks so tempting.

After had paid the bill, we looked around. Well, inside only the long sharing table available for three of us. The typical of their interior is industrial, with combination of metal and wood components. Of course they had sofas too, but only for table. Their indoor dining area was nice and cozy but unfortunately, it is not large.

While waiting for other tables empty (whether indoor or outdoor), we sat at the long sharing table they had. I brought my gelato, and so did mommy.

Not a long time of sitting there, luckily there was a table available for three outside, so we went there. And when my boyfriend was sipping his iced coffee, our waffle came.

Now, let me tell you about their taste and flavour...

GELATO

What i had was caramello salato, while mommy's was pistacchio. Caramello salato contained salted caramel with pink himalayan salt and caramelized hazelnut pieces. The gelato was really smooth and served chil. It had tasty sweet with a bit savory flavour. The caramel felt intense and it tasted so good. Mommy's gelato tasted so pistachio, it had tasty sweet and savory flavour. It was also tasty too.

WAFFLE

The waffle we ordered was classic mapple syrup. The waffle was soft and served warm. The outer skin was a bit crispy outside but at the same time so soft too. It had mapple syrup, icing sugar and almond on top. The taste of the waffle was sweet and a bit savory. Tasted so great and we loved it!

ICED AMERICANO

Beside tasty gelato and waffle, the coffee was great too. It had bitter flavour and served with ice cubes like what my boyfriend had ordered.

Overall, we loved being there, relaxing and enjoying the afternoon together with tasty gelato and waffle in nature ambience outdoor. Of course i recommend this place for you to visit!
