Popular Indonesian Rice Lunch

Hello, friends especially foodies!
After sunday churching alone, i went to the food court to see what could i have for my lunch. Then there was an Indonesian rice stall that took my attention. Well maybe you asked me why, because this was the one and only stall that had line up of customers, so why didn't i give this stall a try.
This stall had many of the lauk (beef, chicken or fish even squid) which were cooked in Indonesian style such as woku chicken, opor chicken, rendang and so on. They also had pauk (kind of vegetables) which were cooked in Indonesian style like stirred long bean, stirred bitter gourd, stirred tempeh, tempeh salted fish peanut, tempeh and tofu in soy sauce and some other kind of vegetables.
Because this place also had some Indonesian traditional cakes, i took one, my favorite cantik manis (pretty sweet).
Now the most important thing was the flavour of each thing i bought there. First for the mackerel fish with the chilli paste on the top, the flavour of the mackerel was light savory, with the spicy and savory chilli paste on the top. Once i was there, they made it better, so today was not okay :(.
I also got the tempeh and tofu in soy sauce which had sweet and a bit savory flavour. I also thought once i was there, the taste of it had had been better.
Last the pretty sweet cake, it had less sweet flavour with soft steamed texture. Looked nice but it wasn't like its' name at all cause it wasn't sweet.
Still if you wanna try many kind of Indonesian food, i recommend you to try this food stall...

I love the tofu serving! It looks delicious and resembles adobo (our national food), and mackerel also looks not that bad! Thank you for sharing your experience at the Indonesian rice stall.
Thanks for passing by... glad you like them
That looks so yummy mbak. : )
