Hello, friends especially foodies!

Yesterday was Saturday like usually i had some free time, in this time, i already meet an appointment to meet a foodie, she used to be my student in the tutorial, but now she is my best friend. After a bit misscommunication of where we met, which puzzled both of us then finally we could meet and here we go, at front of alfred at 2 pm something.

yes, alfred is the name of a cafe which was located in Seibu, a department store in West Mall Grand Indonesia.

We already had been talking about where we would have our snack time together that's why we went to alfred, a place where both of us hadn't been before.

Well although not big, inside was quite cozy with blue wooden wall, touch of gold. Looked classic but modern and fashionable too.

They also had smoking and no smoking area. I love how they style their interior, modern and so american. Dimmed light included there too.

They had unique menu with magazine look like template.

When you open it you would find the idea, california style inspired this cafe. I never gone to california but as i could see through internet, yeah similar wooden style of the wall. And inside this menu book you could find their menus.

The authentic menu were their brioche a.k.a burger. They had some variants but you should consider the menus with two thumbs up, like le entrecote and ultimate truffle. You could add the fries or salad for free included in the brioche. Thought big breakfast there would be even more fun!

They also had appetizers like truffle potato dippers in a jar and.hot special spicy side chicks. No best seller light bites we could find.

They also had some happy endings such as french toast, fluffy hotcakes, martabak, banana bacon maple, and ye olde classic. They had quick deserts like pot de creme and croffles.

There they also had some drinks like some kind of coffees, specialty drinks, artisan teas, refreshers, water or soda and bubblies.

The menu they had for a cafe was vary and i like want to try them all which was sadly we couldn't do.

They separated their new menu, and didn't offer it to us (hey!), but that was okay we already decided what to choose for our snack time!

As prediction yesterday, the drinks came first. This was one of the Freshers they had. It called

Lychee Cooler

It had lychee tea, yakult and mint as ingredients. You would also found the real lychee fruit inside. Guess what, this one was the best lychee tea i ever tasted. I never think that it would tasted this best with those combination, one i will try to make it at home too.. :9 slurp!

Next, the special appetizer came, it named

Truffle Potato Dippers in a Jar

It was one of the tastiest appetizer we ever tasted. How to eat it was quite easy, stirred well the dippers (contained half boiled egg, truffle and other ingredients, it smelled strong but so tasty in savory) then put the multigrain toast which were really totally soft to it. The dippers would blend well with the toast and combined into the best mix ever! You should try it, it was so cool. Anyway be careful cause the dippers was hot when it served to you.

We also still had one of their best brioche

Ultimate Truffle Brioche

Like the name it contained truffle sauce which well melted with the mozarella cheese. The sauce tasted so good in savory, truffle taste was strong. It contained 120 gram of Australian beef patty and onion ring too. One of the biggest brioche i ever had. But this also tasted so good.

No good food in a good place that was cheap right, we paid 361,845 IDR or around 23.7 USD for our snack time. Quite expensive but it was really worth it.
