Hello, friends especially foodies!

On Saturday I usually spent time outside to try to explore food outside and also to heal myself, as maybe you already known, i work every Monday to Friday in the office, so i only have weekends to go outside and enjoy myself. On one Saturday, when i strolled and saw things in the shopping center, it was around 3 pm and i was starving again so i decided to find an interesting new place to spend my tea time.

DOUGHZEN

Located near the other restaurants,Doughzen had an open concept of food stall. The stall was not big, and it had glass case to show their collection of doughnuts.

DOUGHNUTS COLLECTION

Now let me show you their doughnut collection.

First from the right side, they had Sinnamon Sugar which was their classic cinnamon sugar doughnut, then they had snow white doughnut which had almond and white chocolate topping, speculoose doughnut which had layer of lotus biscoff spread.

After that they also had cheese the day doughnut with cheddar cheese on the top, martabak doughnut, meisis on meisis doughnut, berry cheesy doughnut...

They also had red zen doughnut for red velvet cake lovers, donutella doughnut, signature chocolate doughnut, peanut butter and jelly (PBNJ) doughnut, and you drive me glazy doughnut.

Beside doughnuts they also had cinnamon scrolls, cream cheese brulee scrolls, and some filled doughnuts (bomboloni) with the choices of boston cream, coffee candy bomb, misu bomb..

Strawberry shortcake, Belgian chocolate, and creme brulee. And don't forget they also had mini doughzens (mini doughnuts).

BEVERAGE MENU

There of course they also had some beverages too. For the coffee they had espresso, piccolo, americano, latte, cappucino, mocha madness, salty mel, double shaken espresso, fizzycano, fruity americano and aren latte.

While for the non coffee menu, they had chocolate, matcha cha, iced klepon, thai iced tea, menta cubano, earl grey latte, nutella frappe, funfetti, and roman-tea.

As you could see, the beverage counter was located near their cashier (the cashier was located in the middle of the beverage counter and doughnut glass showing case).

DINING AREA

Only consisted of three tables, the place was not big but cozy enough to do chit chat like the table next to me did. Nice to be there, with soft chair and dimmed light.

I needed to wait for around 10 minutes for my warm chocolate to be prepared and ta da.. Here was my order.

Now let me share to you about their BERRY CHEESE DOUGHNUT.

The doughnut had soft texture with natural sweet savory doughnut flavour. For the topping, it was cheesy creamy with savory flavour plus blueberry sauce which had sweet sour flavour with a bit peanut. Overall the doughnut was perfect and it made me curious about their other kinda doughnuts.

And also i had their WARM CHOCOLATE

I asked them to serve it warm and what i got was really warm comforting chocolate drink. The chocolate was rich but it was not bitter nor too sweet, it was in the middle which was great. They served great chocolate with great doughnut. BRAVO!

I will come to try their other doughnut, bombolini or even scrolls plus their other kinda non coffee beverage. I invite you to try it too!
