Hello, friends especially foodies!

Recently, on Sunday afternoon after Sunday service, my friends and i decided to do walking exercise together in an integrated area, Pantai Indah Kapuk which is well known with its' abbreviation PIK. There we had some walking together from afternoon until we were starving.

It was around 6.30 pm that we finally arrived to the restaurant where we had dinner. The restaurant was not too large. And we could see that they had outdoor dining area too in front.

We chose this restaurant because it looked like it had a lot of customers so we concluded that this restaurant might sold tasty indonesian food, so there we were.

Inside was crowded. Many customers were there and had been there before us. Their indoor dining area had air conditioner and it also had a bright lighting. Lucky for us there was an empty table left in this first floor, so we went there to have our seats.

Even there were lots of customers that fulfilled the room, the room was still comfy for us to have dinner together and did some chit chat.

The menu that this restaurant had were mostly dominated with their authentic roasted rice. Like the roasted rice packages below. They had kind of village chicken served with the roasted rice. They also had smashed or crunchy squid, smashed or crunchy shrimp, crunchy or complete milkfish, served with roasted rice. They also had chicken roasted rice in complete package (sour veggie soup included).

They also had white rice packages, if you don't want the roasted rice. And also if you don't want the village chicken and considering the broiler chicken, they also had menu with the broiler chicken.. The same menu like the one with village chicken.

Beside buying in package, don't worry if you don't want to have the rice because they also sold their food ala carte...
Oh yeah anyway for drinks, they had tea, lemon tea, orange iced, tarik tea, grassjelly tarik tea, cappuccino, and others. For the juice they only had melon and strawberry, which lucky for me, cause both are my favorite juice. And they also had smoothie too there.

After waiting around 10 minutes, i got my drink first, this was STRAWBERRY JUICE.

My strawberry juice tasted tasty with real taste of fresh strawberries in it. It was served chilled, nice.

Anyway, for your information strawberry could boost your immune system, support heart health, improve diggestion, promote healthy skin and other good benefits.

And we needed to wait for another 20 minutes to get our food delivered to our table. Ta da, here was what i got that day...

I ordered Complete Package of their roasted rice with rolled chicken, also fried tofu, fried tempeh and also sour veggie soup. Don't forget that they also gave us chili paste to complete our food.

Now it's time for me to explain about their food, one by one. I will start from their roasted rice.

Hmmh well it was beyond of my expectation. The rice had medium soft texture. With some salted fish and lime leaves, it tasted savory and tasted plus smelled so good. It also wrapped with banana leaf. You needed to try this cause this was one of the best roasted rice i ever had.

Next, I will talk about their chicken, the chicken rolled with egg. It had soft tasty egg skin, with smooth tasty savory flavour of the chicken meat.

Don't forget they also gave me their chili paste which was so extremely spicy and savory. Their chili paste made their chicken, tofu and tempeh even more tasty. Nice!

Last, i still had their sour veggie soup.

It dominated with sour flavour with a bit savory sweet flavour. It contained chayote, long bean, corn and peanuts. It was fresh but i just didn't like that it served hot, that's it. I like sour veggie soup in normal temperature, not in hot temperature like usually it served. For the sour veggie soup i didn't like the one they served.

But i recommend you to try the roasted rice and also rolled chicken there, so when will you come there?
