One place that my wife and I love to eat at whenever we go to Vegas is a place called Dick's Last Resort. The food is amazing and the staff is hilarious.

After the hostess seated us, our server came up with a large paper table cloth and a handful of napkins. Instead of setting the table for us like at a normal restaurant, he threw it all onto the table and told my wife to do her job at set the table up.

This place isn't your typical dining experience. The staff makes fun of you and is rude the entire time. It is pretty hilarious. I was a bit stoned when we went, and I decided to go with the chili dog and chili cheese fries. Our waiter made some jokes about how I liked wieners because I wanted the chili dog. The entrée is even named Dick's Huge 12 Inch Wiener.

If you are looking to get drunk while you eat, this place has some really good options for that too. Their margaritas are massive and strong. They have a 45 ounce margarita that will get you pretty lit. One year when we went, I got one of the tall drinks, it was almost three feet tall, and they filled my straw with Bacardi 151. Needless to say, it was a very strong drink.

While you wait for your food, the servers make these huge hats that have some pretty funny things written on them. Since I got the Dick's Huge Wiener, my hat said "I'm not gay, but my mouth is." My wife's hat said "$5 Motor Boats." Good thing I get the motor boats for free. It is funny to read the hats that other people are wearing too.

This place isn't for the easily offended, but I have never seen the servers go too far with any of the jokes they make towards people. It is a really great ambiance and everyone there is just looking to have a good time. If you have never been here before, I would highly recommend it. The food is great and the whole experience is a ton of fun. The food is perfect fuel for your body to be able to go out and enjoy Vegas.

We have/had one of those in downtown Dallas in the 'WestEnd.' My parents' band played there a few times live back in the day. They are funny! Excellent shots too btw.

Nice. What kind of music was your parent's band?

Their music would have been difficult to define in a genre. Classic Rock i guess. It was original music and lyrics with a lot of Beatles influence but a female vocalist so it's a weird thing to define. hahaha

That sounds like it could have been amazing. Do they have any of their songs on YouTube or Spotify?

Here is the playlist of their album. It made it past the first round of judging for the Grammys that year. Give it a listen when you feel for it.

My dad played drums, rhythm guitar, did vocals sometimes, and wrote all the music and lyrics. My mom was on the bass guitar. I was like the roadie for many gigs and years! hahaha

Dude, I love the first photo, I wonder how he made the exact same facial expression. The hats are funny too, it can be fun as long as you don't go too far with these things. If the food is good, I don't mind.

Most people that go to this place know what they are in for. I would love to see someone get offended though. I have only seen people have an amazing time here.

I'm not sure it's going to be good. Some people take everything too serious and there could be a big fight there 😂😂

If people want to fight because they are offended, then they are dumb. Most people know exactly what they are getting themselves into when they go to Dick's

LOL that is so funny! So do they warn you in advance? Or will it be a shock for the first timer?

There really isnt a warning, but I assume most people know what they are getting into. It would be funny seeing someone get upset if they don't know what goes on there.

Great story, I went to the one in Boston once; the food was not the best (I am sure every experience is different) but it was a lot of fun.

The trick is to get high before you go and then the food is amazing, lol.

He should! I bet he would have a blast doing it. You should do it with him and you can both practice.

The chili cheese fries were so good. Their queso is the best.

That place didn't exist when I was living in Vegas last century/2001 haha. I've been saying I want to bring my eldest daughter to Vegas for her 21st birthday, which is only 6 months away, so if we happen to make it there (read: if crypto does a crazy stunt) then we'll definitely check it out. Looks like a great time!

My son is turning 21 in about 6 months as well. We want to take him to Vegas for his birthday, but he wants to wait a few more months until his girlfriend turns 21 as well so they can both go and party.

Hah! Can't blame him but at the same time, he could just go twice hehe.
My daughter's birthday is January 20th, and the plan was to fly to Las Vegas from Mexico. But she decided to go back to Ireland with her boyfriend 2 weeks ago, so it's going to be a bit different now. We might have to postpone too. But either way, it'll be great!
If anything, I could always go and send her the photos...😆

Hopefully you guys can make it for her birthday. Ireland would be a better trip anyways. I want to go there so bad.
