That Mid Life Crisis

At this stage, i am struggling to findout how to adapt to my "new" midlife. I am not trying to hide, nor runaway from the change. Nevertheless, its a huge struggle that i wish to document this down on a regular basis.

Home minister is having her own struggle currently. At this age, we already know menopause is coming its way. She's not exactly too healthy at this stage and the hospital is advising us to go to government hospital to do further check-up.

We went to town together so she will be nearer to the government medical facility. Breakfast was ok, but not to the extend of can't stop eating. The milk tea was a little too sweet. We should really cut down on sugar.

Job is a different kind of challenge. This is the company that focus on delivery. They don't care when and how, the only motivation is number. Now that I'm on my third month, I'm struggling to produce the number. On top of all that, food cost is way higher than i used to. A bowl of noodle soup at the Pavillion KL cost me 16.90.

Starbucks is also having their own struggle of losing customers due to the local religious body decided to boycott these chain stores due to the war. I wouldn't use the name of religious to support Starbucks, but their commercial decision of slashing price does get my support!

So as KFC, they're being boycott by the same religious body due to the war breakout at the middleeast. I don't think they understand how economy works. By chasing away foreign investments, part of the biggest impact will be the local employment.

I'm getting sick of explaining shit to others as they don't even want to accept the fact that religion has nothing to do with the food stall. Nowadays i put my focus on how to maximize their promotions and discounts. That way, i can eat cheaper food.

I was once a regular supporter of KFC. @justinparke knows about this. I think there's one point where i make KFC posts almost daily basis, it became so boring that i promised to stop posting about it even if i visit the KFC.

Now this is one of the time i went to KFC but i did not eat it. Home minister came back from hospital and we decided to go to the noodle shop. So i packed up 2 sets of KFC for the kids.

Noodles are good with the home minister. We had a long chat at the restaurant regarding our future, the kids and my possibility of getting out of the current job without struggling the family too much.

hi, when menouposal comes to a girl or a woman struggle comes also but stay calm and 🙏 Pray because God is the only way to make us women accept the truth.that's the way we are. Stay away from sugar so that it will not add the misery of being in a menouposal period. God bless you!

Never heard of that sugar will affect the menstrual period during menopause. Thank you for the advice and I will inform her.

Thank you for the encouraging words. I am trying to not pick the sides blindfolded. You see, I don't even know if I'm standing at the junction or I am arriving at a junction, should I change my trajectory? Should I stay this way and proceed?

You're welcome! The decision is still up to you 😊 Stability is important, but so is growth. But that growth doesn't always mean changing jobs, its about how you evolve with the role you are in or redefining your skills that make you feel fulfilled 😍

We face similar challenges during midlife, so you're not alone. Sharing your story can help you and others understand and find strength. Be kind to yourself. Change is hard, but it brings growth and self-discovery. Take it one step at a time and celebrate small victories. You're doing your best, and that's what matters.

My dear friend, I know you're facing difficulties right now. It's understandable to feel overwhelmed by the challenges life throws our way. But please remember this: whatever storms you're weathering, God's grace is your unwavering shelter. Have faith in His plan, even when things seem dark and uncertain. Continue to do good, to spread kindness, and to live with integrity. Your strength and resilience will see you through, and in His time, these challenges will fade. You are loved, you are strong, and you are not alone.

Looking at the foods makes feel hungry.😋
Challenges and problems are part of our lives. Always bear in mind that 'this too shall pass" - difficult times are temporary and will eventually end. Keep on fighting.💪🏻

Thank you my friend for encouraging. The food is my problem too, I've been relying too much on food for comforting, now I'm not only fat, high cholesterol, high blood sugar and high blood pressure as well 😅 (except salary not high)

You can go to the park with your wife if you have some free time. Walking in the park while looking at your surroundings gives a relaxing vibe. In that way you can have a bonding with your wife and lose some fats as well. It's like hitting two birds in one stone.😉 Let's take care of ourselves.👌

The Doctor's advice to those middle-aged women is to cut off sweets, carbs, carbonated drinks, or even alcohol but please let her enjoy a little of it sometimes. Don't let it affect you. Speaking of menopause, mine was forced. I had TAHBSO following radiation damage at age 35. Sad, right? By the way, I agree with you that foreign investments give local employment. It's crucial.
