Going through the motion
Ok this is the final week working at this place. This is my longest serving company I've ever had in my life.Im not particularly feeling angry, as I see this transition as a loss course for the company. I myself, not gaining too much anyway, with the expense of security.
Most of my current colleagues show respect about my decision of leaving the company. I don't really care if they're sincere. The one which I already know they're fake, I'd just treat them with a warm smile and say thank you for their concern.
The rest of them, we're having non stop celebration despite I have mentioned not required 🤣 I'm serious. Imagine this, when someone leaving your workplace, you openly celebrate it, what does that mean? Finally he's gone? 🤣
Besides, I'm sure with my departure, I'm definitely leaving them a ton of hassle, unfinished work. And for the rest of the sales team, they will have to take up my responsibilities as well. It's not my justification anymore, how can they cope.
In the morning, I have been visiting the Indian shop and ordering my favorite nasi lemak. This is the 2nd week straight. The restaurant manager is happy that he finally win me "back". I wish to tell him he never lose me from the beginning. I just can't do this everyday for the past 9 years with all that coconut extract. These are some extremely high GI food. But let's enjoy the moment while it lasts. I probably won't have a chance to eat this in the future as my workplace is very far away.
Each and every lunch I have now are taken care by fellow colleagues and business associates respectively, rotating daily basis. Some of the client are vegetarian, I also went for vegetarian lunch. Not that I must eat meat, but synthetic meat is just way too starchy for my digestive system. Those pieces of "meat" you saw in the below picture, are soy pork 🤣 They're delicious! charcoal flavored, very chewy. Not forgetting soy fish and soy squid. Oh my gut!
But one thing don't change these days, I need a latte from 711. I'm glad the world class franchise convenient shop finally step up their game and make good coffee. Latte will never be that shitty again after they change to use a proper espresso machine with automated milk dispenser.
That's about it all. I'm still going through the motion with the current workplace. No more disappointment, no more arguments. I do not want peaceful talk, I just want to get the job done and get out of here.
That's pretty crazy they were celebrating your departure from the job. This is commonplace in some jobs, often times half of the people it seems are smiling with an invisible middle finger behind the grin. So I think that's probably natural to feel mixed emotions about it. I had a similar experience with a departure party from the military when my contract was up. The whole thing just felt mixed with bitterness and fake happiness.
That Indian food looks delicious.
Well, I can only Tony Robbins it, accept all the celebrations and partying it out all week long 😅

Behind of stressful work, we should really not forget to unwind and do some food trip just like that one. 🤣 Its looks like very delicious sir and I wish I could that kind of food.
Haaaaaaaa, what you say is true, some people are very false, they tell you, we're going to miss you and when you go out you go out and talk to each other, they say, it's good that he left haaaaaaa, but the important thing is that you are well, look at everything in a positive way and let the false people continue with their falsehood, it is not worth thinking about that, or you can invite them to take aromatic and you put 20 drops of don't fuck with me haaaaaa
Well, sounds like there are some positive things to take away when this is finally behind you. Do you think you will keep any of your co-workers as friends now that you've cut employment ties? As a vegan, I must say I am not a fan of most mock meats, mostly because they are sometimes too close to the real thing, and I am the kind of vegan that doesn't miss meat in my diet.
I know all too well how delicious the Malaysian-ized Indian food is, still the only Indian food I prefer outside of India. You would make a great foodie tour guide if such a job ever fell into your lap.
