Wrong memories restaurant

I usually can remember good food really well. I can still recall those shops that I visited decades ago and can still recommend them to friends. Those are the good memories.

However, I don't really go and remember restaurants with average quality. For example, if the home minister asked me what's good in this restaurant, if my answer is I don't know, or I can't remember, chances are they're really really really average.

This restaurant is known to be it's theme, memories. Our country has a wide variety of food culture. The restaurant make use of the Malaccan recipe which heavily influenced by the Portuguese. Kids were not really hungry, so they ordered a plate of fish fingers. Trust me, it looks a lot nicer, bigger portion in the menu. I know I know, pictures are for illustration purpose only. It's totally below my expentation for the price tag.

The home minister ordered a Kampung Fried Rice. As much as we know this is what supposed to be village recipe, but wasn't expect they reinvent the wheel. Rice has been blended in with broccoli chunks and seasoned with seaweed. If they change the name to radioactive fried rice, with the green theme, I think that will make it even more attractive and matches customers expectation.

Last but not least, I got my bowl of green curry ramen. I'm still a little puzzled, which part of green curry affect by portugues? isn't that from Thailand? oh another thing, I didn't see any portugues eating ramen as their significant dish. The only thing I'm proud of this dish was, vegan. Had they put a warning sign beside the picture, I would have order airbto breathe instead of paying top dollars for a vegan ramen that has absolutely nothing near to Thailand green curry.

Girl said she wanted to try the white chocolate, so she did. It tastes like non dairy creamer water. Son is a little smart as he opt for a standard chocolate ice. I think the color of the chocolate drink speaks a thousand words. Neither of the young individual able to finish their... somewhat special drink.

I guess, this restaurant will be in my memory for a very long time to come... wait I mean to not come back to this restaurant again 😅
