When there's nothing better to do

So, this is the second day of Eid, the holiday is still going on. Money already spent on the hotel stay, and a short local food tour that ended with much disappointment.

This also happened to be the birthday of the father of the home minister. We have a not so well planned plan in place which is involved with when someone woke up at which time. So, this is the type of plan that is tried to not fail, instead of a plan to fail, at least we have a plan. (pardon the wordy explanation of fail to plan is plan to fail quote).

First part being, not part of the plan. We planned to wait until that certain someone woke up, then we could go for breakfast. Guess what, that someone woke up at 10am, and by the time we made it to the restaurant, a bowl of pork ball noodles lunch was sufficient for her. I saw the next table is having a nice chicken sticky rice, I also ordered one.

And by the time my bowl of curry pork ball noodles arrived, I was actually half full already, but still finished it. And proceed to send the home minister to the in-law house, so I can go home and settle my work whilst she cooks the "lunch".

By the time she's done, I gotta pack up the lil monsters, stuff them into the car and rush to the in-law house, so we can celebrate birthday. Guess what, the plan goes so well that the birthday granddad took off before we arrive 🤣 heard he went to the casino for a lucky hand.

By the time I'm writing this, half the house is still in the kitchen trying to settle the balance of the sambal and coconut steamed rice, the kids are having their computer time and shouting extremely loudly with their YouTube accent playing Roblox as if they're recording a game vlog(oh yes, it's a thing).

I'm not saying regret, but if you haven't married and no children yet, think twice, and think and then think it over again 🤣
