Holy Saturday - Last day of abstain
To me, choosing to abstain is about committing to a challenge. It's a form of testing my discipline. I know I'm not perfect for the past 39 days, I did a rough count, I breached at least 4 times as I can remember.
Once home minister and I went to a restaurant and ordered fried noodles. I finished it and totally forgot the fact that the Chinese sausage is made of pork 🤣
On a separate occasion, I went to dinner with the business associates and introduced them to my boss. The client scoped a dash of tofu for me, as I was chewing to realize the tofu was recombined with meat paste. I didn't spit it out for the respect of it, but have been avoiding meat for the whole evening.
And then I was there packing food for the kids during the weekend, I was hungry and decided to dine in. I ordered fried noodles with no chicken and no pork. Conveniently, I ate it and until I checked back my photographs, I realized there's Chinese sausage in it 🤣
Last, it was 2 weeks ago when I met my client KK at the food court. I ordered fish ball noodles, and god knows fish ball noodles served with minced pork 🤣 to save the trouble, I didn't ask them to change. I just sweep the mince pork aside and whichever pig meat finds its way to my mouth, I can't be bothered much.
I guess that's pretty much the breaches I can remember. I've been facing a tremendous amount of temptation towards the end of the lent season. Yesterday my client brought us a huge pot of roasted pork. Today the girl ordered a huge plate of cheesy sausage that she claimed cannot finish 😅
I got myself a plate of mushroom omelette, home minister got herself a bowl of spicy sour Laksa soup. The boy opt for kaya butter french toast.
冇水既、飲多啲水、唔係冇金魚睇
有咖啡同美祿,冇影相姐。
👍👍
🙏🙏
Yes, it's very funny, friend. And in the end you order fried noodles without chicken and pork.😃👍
Oh yes. But somehow meat still find it's way landed on my plate 🤣
hehhehe.. but if it has a good taste that's fine. 😁
From my opinion, you really do a good job!
多謝美美。個人承諾,純粹挑戰啫🤣
You observing Ramadam as well? 4 breaches over 29 days isn't that bad, less than once a week, that's less than 1 in 21 meals, and it's not you did it deliberately.
Time to start pigging out now 😁
哈哈。是呀。昨晚教堂回來馬上吃豬油炒麵去了🤣

Nobody is perfect, you fail 4 times, it seems normal to me in relation to the established time
Thank you for the kind words. I forgive myself 🤣
Sounds like temptation city to me. I know the struggle all too well, and even here in Cambodia I've spent 5 minutes explaining vegetarian to a seller, then when it seems clear the seller produces a vegan meal for me. Something smells funny, then I go to check the pot and it's full of bones. The seller then says "I didn't scoop any of the meat into your bowl 🤦♂️😂."
