After more than 2 years of the freakin "situation" affected majority of the country, I can finally smell some fresh goodness this new normal bring us, at least here in Genting.

Aside from last December when we came back after the lockdown for the first time, and back then the indoor theme park was newly opened, we have trouble queuing up to get the ticket. Also, many of the shops remained closed back then, there's hardly any mean of "normal" back then. Many people, nothing much to do, so to speak.

This time around, it's a total changed. Most of the shops are back to normal. Some couldn't survive the situation has been removed, and new shops taken over. It's still relatively happening but less crowded compare to a year ago.

Five Guy is one of the restaurant highly recommended by friends and family, as far as we know about this restaurant, it's always long queue. I thought we're lucky enough this time, just to find out their ice cream machine is dead. Don't this reminds me of the red and yellow branding franchise that always has a broken increase machine?

Some of our usual hangout shop is now taken over by some new found fusion food restaurant. To my surprise, the day menu is insanely affordable. Not cheap' cheap, but it's priced at the range of Kuala Lumpur restaurant! One of the outlet had taken over my favourite Terminal 2 Cafe that is beside a window observation deck. During the day, you can actually order your food, sit beside the window and see the cloud Infront of you. It's definitely a billion dollar view with a 3 dollar meal.

The thing I don't like the new normal being, the same thing I liked about the new normal. I will miss the old Terminal 2 Cafe. I don't have a blog on that, but if you're interested to find out what we missed, here's a link to a blog from a fellow travel blogger.
