So, Christmas is around the corner. According to our home minister's arrangement, this year we will not be celebrating in Kuala Lumpur.

The kids are having school holiday, so the home minister is going to bring the kids and spend a week in my home town to take care of my mom. I am not complaining, matter of fact i am very grateful she thought of that.

However, i myself is on a less fortunate side. I have recently change job, added with my father passed away a couple of weeks ago which utilized 4 days of my annual leave, am now having a hard time trying to ask for day off for religious celebration. Therefore, i will have to drive my family back my home town, spend the chirstmas day there, and grab a train back to Kuala Lumpur all by myself.

In view of the "separation" during christmas, we decided to celebrate early, decided to put our dinner at The Italiannies at The Curve. This is not the first time we've been here, we have not been back for a couple of years, mainly due to the expensive menu.

The boy got himself a Marinaras pizza, and i got myself a bowl of mushroom soup. The pizza is nice, pretty sure its NON Vegan, since it has a very stretchy cheese toping with marinara sauce. Whereas my mushroom soup is quite thick, warm and dunking the garlic bread in it makes it soft and very appetising.

The home minister ordered half a roasted chicken. Whilst it doesn't look that impressive at all in the photograph, its actually quite filling despite two adults sharing that half a chicken. The seasoning rub on the roast chicken is spicy and very flavorful. However, the onion sauce that flooded the roast chicken isn't really that impressive at all.

The girl is not in the mood of whacking anything serious as she had a heavy and late lunch during the day. She only went for a plate of chicken tender. I didn't manage to try the chicken tender, but the fries is actually quite chrunchy.

Overall, the bill came quite reasonable. I am not saying i can afford this kinda food bill. For a fact that we now know how to order kids meal, and that actualled helped us save up some money since one of the kid eats for free!
