After a long time, between canceled appointments with friends or various unforeseen events such as my son's injury, my wife and I finally had lunch at Mode, one of the most popular Japanese restaurants in the city, so you need to book a table , especially on weekends! It's a really nice restaurant, tidy, clean and welcoming, and the quality of the food is really excellent, so much so that after the first time I came here, I never changed restaurant.

The preferred formula is All You Can Eat, you can order and eat at a fixed price of 26 euros, excluding drinks, provided that no leftovers remain on the plate, otherwise you will pay for whatever is left. It's a plus but you need to manage it well. Personally I prefer to order a few dishes at a time, I check the orders and I also enjoy lunch. I well remember at the first All You Can Eat we ordered so much food that I was forced to pay for the rest as well.

I love the smell of shrimp or tempura that welcomes us, I'm very hungry and almost anxious to sit down at the table. The menus are back, until last year it was all digital due to Covid, now the situation has normalized and it's nice to leaf through the paper between your fingers.

I'm fond of rolls, I really like any kind, with the exception of a couple with avocado, they certainly don't make me crazy about the flavor but I admit I don't disdain them. The waiter brought us all our courses almost simultaneously: a particular scenography that caught our attention was the pouring of a liquid that emitted a cloud of steam that initially covered the table and then faded away gently. It was really a beautiful touch of art that left me pleasantly surprised.

Dopo tanto tempo, tra appuntamenti annullati con gli amici o imprevisti vari come l'infortunio di mio figlio, finalmente io e mia moglie abbiamo pranzato presso il Mode, ristorante giapponese tra i più frequentati in città, per cui è necessario prenotare il tavolo, specialmente nei weekend! È un ristorante davvero molto bello, ordinato, pulito e accogliente, e la qualità del cibo è davvero ottima, tanto che dopo la prima volta in cui sono entrato qui, non ho più cambiato ristorante.

La formula preferita è All You Can Eat, puoi ordinare e mangiare ad un prezzo fisso di 26 euro, escluso le bevande, a patto che nessun avanzo resti nel piatto, altrimenti pagherai tutto ciò che è rimasto. È un vantaggio ma è necessario gestirlo bene. Personalmente io preferisco ordinare poche pietanze per volta, controllo gli ordini e mi gusto anche il pranzo. Ricordo bene al primo All You Can Eat abbiamo ordinato tanto di quel cibo che fui costretto a pagare anche la rimanenza.

Adoro il profumo di gamberetti o tempura che ci accoglie, ho molta fame e sono quasi ansioso di sedermi a tavola. Sono tornati i menù, fino allo scorso anno era tutto digitale a causa del Covid, ora la situazione è ormai normalizzata ed è bello sfogliare la carta tra le dita.

Sono ghiotto dei rolls, mi piacciono davvero di qualsiasi tipo, ad esclusione di un paio con l'avocado, non mi fanno di certo impazzire dal sapore ma ammetto di non sdegnarli. Il cameriere ci ha portato quasi in contemporanea tutte le nostre portate: una particolare scenografia che ha attirato la nostra attenzione è stato il versamento di un liquido che ha emesso una nuvola di vapore che ha ricoperto inizialmente il tavolo per poi affievolirsi dolcemente. È stato davvero un bellissimo tocca d'arte che mi ha lasciato piacevolmente sorpreso.

Un lungo e delizioso pranzo, una ricorrenza che conferma la mia ammirazione per la cucina giapponese, così ricca di sapori e colori.
